Mindfactory had 3x 5090 models in stock for ~5 minutes in Germany.
5x cards of each.

I was 99% sure my order would be canceled (I have had websites work faster over free 14.4k dial-up...
:wtf:), but I ended up getting a shipping confirmation a few minutes back!

Definitely not a worth months pay (and then some), but as often as I upgrade, and given the lack of competition from AMD, it should easily hold me over for 5 years.

Now I only have to wait for Alphacool to get the waterblock for my new RTX 5090 Suprim SOC released!

Sick, I am looking for the Suprim Liquid myself, selling my RTX 4090 to my Brother when we can get one.

So, for this store, only a pair of 5080s. ("PVPR" == MSRP)

...and on this one, absolutely nothing.

And remember, PT has 23% VAT, but I mean...the 5090 Suprim SOC, for instances, is listed in the TPU review at USD$ 2400, which sounds like a fire sale compared to one euro short of 3060€ (USD$ 3,187.4 by conversion).

Yeah, the prices are pretty wild.
I figure launch day prices, before the scalpers get their teeth in, is about as good as they will get for quite a while.
Even then, 2899€ for the 5090 Supreme SOC still hurts :fear:

Of course.

I can't wait to see how big my e-peen looks when I get my hands on one :D
Well you might be better of getting a 4090 then, girth wise

there is really a lot of people buying a card every gen or changing cards on sequential gens, and they are the same people complaining about prices :D.
I'm pretty sure Nvidia is not the only one distorting the market, causing all the problems
There's a far larger group of people not vocal about their once in a five year-GPU upgrade though.

So far yes. Might be just some change that requires a bit of time to find the way to read the value or something. Hopefully it's not another situation like ASIC quality going the way of the dodo on nvidia cards..
Well you do the math, TDPs have skyrocketed and the chip is in a smaller enclosure than ever before.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this out. Its going to run terribly hot on the FE. Its right up against the usual throttle point of 83C so there's gotta be a >100C hotspot they really don't like to expose. Frankly there's no way in hell I would ever get an FE in this situation. Its real nice, two slots, but this thing runs hot AF. I'm sure it runs 'in spec' though... its just too bad that doesn't quite say a whole lot these days either between a 12VHPWR plug and Intel's near-demise on 13/14th gen.

Managed to secure a Palit 5090 Gamerock (4139 AUD) in Aussieland, price was more or less the same as the 4090 which was between 3700-4400 AUD, we get royally f*cked on prices either way.

Placed an order for the Gamerock as well. But closer to 6500 AUD if we do the conversion, though. I love taxes and the government :)

Hope to see it soon.

unless your doing 4k resolution gaming consistently, its not worth getting 5090. imo

5080 - is pretty much equal to a 4090 just few % higher

ima just wait on 5070 ti
