Mine is on a truck for delivery as we speak. I will be comparing it to my Watercooled 6800XT. That cost about the same if not a little more but it's still not fair due to the mining collapse. For me there has been so much acrimony created from claims that it made me decide to get one and try it for myself.

Not yet I am still enjoying Gaming on it. When it is ready to sell it will be on my local market. I am wondering if I will sell it as a single slot card for watercooling or just put the shroud back on. Corsair has made Watercooling much more accessible in Canada recently.Do you sell the 6800XT ?

My too, but what is the price point for 7900 XT that you would be willing to pounce?I'm keeping an eye on the 7900XT. If I need to get a new card (new game needs more power than my 2080ti can handle at 1440p), then this will be the next choice. I had initially voted 'No' but seeing the performance and price of the 4070ti, I'd rather have the 10% higher raster power of the 7900XT. But then, only if the price drops.

They may have no interest in following Nvidia's trends just for the sake of it, but as a for-profit company, they definitely do have an interest in making money.I think AMD will have greater success if moves the RX 7900 XTX down a notch to compete directly at $799 with RTX 4070 Ti.
And put RX 7900 XT at $599 to try to attach more attention from potential buyers.
AMD has no interest to be in an agreement with nvidia and follow the current game.

Good luck with your business. I started my business years ago. Toughest thing I have ever done.It depends on my financial position. I recently gave up work to focus on my own business, so at present I'm holding off all purchases. But, it'd need to drop to nearer £700. Preferably less.

That's not on AMD, though. People who don't necessarily need the best of the best should resist the price hike from both companies, imo. With AMD, that's usually not a problem, but Nvidia has enough fans who buy their cards regardless of their price so that they (Nvidia) essentially do whatever they want. Not buying AMD will not change AMD's intention to follow business trends and hope to stay competitive. It will only help Nvidia in their agenda to increase profit margins to the sky, and AMD will follow along. And the customers have the interest to RESIST that. Which means less profits and even losses for AMD

Do you have a source on that?AMD's business trend is to lose market share with an outlook to abandon the discrete graphics business altogether to nvidia and Intel.
Do you have a source on that?
Underwhelming AMD Radeon RX 7000 performance estimate renders it incapable of competing with Ada Lovelace in rasterization and raytracing - NotebookCheck.net NewsBilibili leaker Enthusiast Citizen states that the AMD Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards will go on sale in December. AMD will launch only two flagship SKUs at its November 3 event, neither of which can outperform the GeForce RTX 4090 in rasterization or raytracing.
AMD's upcoming 7nm Navi GPUs may not be more powerful than Nvidia's GTX 1080 - NotebookCheck.net NewsAccording to rumors, AMD's Navi-based GPUs, which are slotted for release in 2019, may compete with Nvidia's GTX 1080 but not supersede it. This could spell trouble for AMD; the GPU shortage caused by the cryptomining craze particularly hit AMD's stock, and the lack of a competitive GPU next year may cause a loss of market share.

Well, sorry, but I don't give any credit to personal speculation, including yours. To put it bluntly: I'll believe it when I see it.Why a source? You need an official confession from AMD that they no longer will release any graphics cards? Well, after looking at AMD for all those years, this is the most natural event that could happen next.
How many generations are AMD allowed to skip without paying the ultimate price - to lose their existence in the market?

Get yourself a 7900XTX and give yourself some context before making that statement. The 6800XT sold plenty well and held a high retail price for a long time. When the 7900XT goes to it's proper $699 it will sell properly. The 4070TI is not faster than the 7900XT and when AMD drops the price to compete it will become irrelevant as in Hardware and Software Ray Tracing it beats it. The narrative has people comparing that card to the 3090 and 3090TI. That is a huge advantage for mind share for AMD. It's ok though the Console ports are not getting scarce so you can thank AMD for that too.AMD's business trend is to lose market share with an outlook to abandon the discrete graphics business altogether to nvidia and Intel.
I kind of want to put in my 5950X to see but the 5800X3D loves the 7900XTX.The 3800XT is too slow for this card.
Upgrade to 5800X3D asap!

That rumour aged like milk. The 5700XT is much faster than a GTX 1080. At 1440p, The GTX 1080 is 12% slower than the 2060 Super while the 5700XT is 13% faster than the latter. This makes the 5700XT nearly 30% faster than the GTX 1080.
