Nothing in your build looks D grade to me. In fact, your build shows a fine attention to detail, and everything looks well executed. Good job - don't let the bastards get you down.

I'm talkn quality hardware.. The build is exceptional.. I followed he's build log in the extreme forums.. Seems a waste to put "not the best" or "up to date" in possibly the best pc build of the year.. I'm no hater......

I see what you mean. But different people has different needs and purpose about their hardwares. To me "Case Modding" is all about how we mod the hardwares. It's doesn't require the high end specs. Of course the newer the better. In addition, that guy seem to be a foreigner. People outside of U.S doesn't have a huge or same selection of hardware like we do.

Damn!!!!

That is one sweet rig man. Very neat, clean, professional. Mine has more of the industrial look with my loops, yours is more clean. You minimized the exposed tubing, and went with a more clean layout. Now you got me re-thinking my rig.......I just finished leak testing both loops........No......More.......Mods...........10/10. Excellent work.

These photos are actually shot very well

I don't see what's fake about his pics. It's more than probable that this is his rig considering there is a whole 4 page thread about some of his cooling mods on xtremesystems.org. Here is the link for your viewing pleasure.

Very nice setup so you get a 9/10, only because I took a point out because I favor a calming BLUE color to RED.

What the blazes does it matter if he doesn't drop 4 grand on a processor and Ares or lightning video cards? A 920 and CF 5850s is still a kickin system. I'd much rather see a system with a first gen pentium proc and 1mb of RAM look like this build than I would a 980x and 4gpus look like garbage. There's a lot of love in this build and that's where the 10/10 comes from.

I don't see the problem in his rig. Honestly, if anything it's over kill. What game/application needs an i7, 6x2gb, and 2x 5850s?

Also, no build is ever a finished build. Always room for upgrades when new hardware hits the market.

There always room for mooooooooooore

God, I love OVERKILL!!!!

If I could I'd run an EVGA SR-2 mb while OCing them dualies up to 4.5ghz and incorporating a little GTX 580 quad-sli action.

But since that card doesn't support a quad setup and I dont have enough green to spend on two processors, it's just another wet dream for me. BooFreakinHoo

Wow

This is by far the best looking Rig I have ever seen.
Clean. Industrial. Modern. Handsome. Futuristic. Great use of color.
You can be very proud of yourself.
The negative feedback here is pure jealousy. Let them post their Mods.
