The GeForce2 Ti was a graphics card by NVIDIA, launched on October 1st, 2001. Built on the 180 nm process, and based on the NV15 graphics processor, in its GeForce2 Ti variant, the card supports DirectX 7.0. Since GeForce2 Ti does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The NV15 graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 88 mm² and 25 million transistors. It features 4 pixel shaders and 0 vertex shaders, 8 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). NVIDIA has paired 64 MB DDR memory with the GeForce2 Ti, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 250 MHz, memory is running at 200 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, the NVIDIA GeForce2 Ti does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is not exactly known. Display outputs include: 1x VGA, 2x S-Video. GeForce2 Ti is connected to the rest of the system using an AGP 4x interface. The card measures 165 mm in length, and features a single-slot cooling solution.
