The Radeon HD 3450 X2 was a graphics card by ATI, launched on December 10th, 2007. Built on the 55 nm process, and based on the RV620 graphics processor, in its RV620 LE variant, the card supports DirectX 10.1. Since Radeon HD 3450 X2 does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The RV620 graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 67 mm² and 181 million transistors. Radeon HD 3450 X2 combines two graphics processors to increase performance. It features 40 shading units, 4 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs, per GPU. ATI has paired 1,024 MB DDR2 memory with the Radeon HD 3450 X2, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface per GPU (each GPU manages 512 MB). The GPU is operating at a frequency of 600 MHz, memory is running at 500 MHz. Being a single-slot card, the ATI Radeon HD 3450 X2 does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 50 W maximum. Display outputs include: 2x DMS-59. Radeon HD 3450 X2 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 interface. The card measures 168 mm in length, and features a single-slot cooling solution.
