The Radeon X1700 FSC was a graphics card by ATI, launched on November 5th, 2007. Built on the 80 nm process, and based on the RV535 graphics processor, in its RV535 FSC variant, the card supports DirectX 9.0c. Since Radeon X1700 FSC does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The RV535 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 131 mm² and 157 million transistors. It features 12 pixel shaders and 5 vertex shaders, 4 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). ATI has paired 256 MB GDDR3 memory with the Radeon X1700 FSC, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 587 MHz, memory is running at 695 MHz. Being a single-slot card, the ATI Radeon X1700 FSC does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 44 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x VGA, 1x S-Video. Radeon X1700 FSC is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 1.0 x16 interface.
