We've come from rumors through somewhat disappointing listed specs on NVIDIA's latest GPU, and now, there's an actual AIB product hitting store shelves. Gigabyte seems to be the first NVIDIA partner out of the gates with their own version of NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 1050 3 GB video card - a card that's a murder of its original specs and has nonetheless generated more than its fair share of buzz among the tech crowds.

Whether or not performance is severely hampered by the 96-bit bus width of the new NVIDIA graphics card remains to be seen (it can't be good for performance though, now can it?) And even as NVIDIA increased core count and clockspeeds to compensate for the severe lack of memory bandwidth already, Gigabyte, naturally, introduced a small OC to their own version of the graphics card, allowing it to boost up to 1582 MHz (1417 MHz base, and 1556 MHz boost in gaming mode, 1442 MHz base, up to 1582 MHz boost in OC Mode. Gigabyte employs its Windforce 2X cooler with 2x 80 mm fans to keep the card cool and allow maximum boost capability. Connectivity-wise, there's 1x DVI-D, 1x HDMI 2.0b and 1x DisplayPort 1.4 port (up to three simultaneous displays are supported).

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., the world leader in advanced memory technology, announced today that it is now mass producing the industry's first ePoP (embedded package on package) memory - a single memory package consisting of 3GB LPDDR3 DRAM, 32GB eMMC (embedded multi-media card) and a controller. For use in high-end smartphones, the extremely thin ePoP combines all essential memory components into a single package that can be stacked directly on top of the mobile processor, without taking any additional space - a distinct improvement over existing two-package eMCP memory solutions.

"By offering our new high-density ePoP memory for flagship smartphones, Samsung expects to provide its customers with significant design benefits, while enabling faster and longer operation of multi-tasking features," Jeeho Baek, Senior Vice President of Memory Marketing at Samsung Electronics. QNAP, Inc. launches its latest mid level NAS Series, the TS-x69 Pro and TS-x69L Series with XBMC. The TS-x69 Pro and L series are powered by an Intel Atom 2.13 GHz Dual-Core processor with expandable memory up to 3GB. The XBMC Media Center feature allows users to directly connect the NAS through their TV's HDMI port for direct media playback.

Users can now watch their favorite movies, videos, listen to their favorite music, and view their photos directly on their TV. With XBMC, users can also manage their video library, create/manage their own personal music playlists and create their own photo slideshows. "We are very thrilled to bring the exciting, feature loaded XBMC Media Center to QNAP users," said Ivan Hsu, Marketing Sales Director for QNAP.

Eurocom, is launching two new NVIDIA GeForce based graphics cards in its High Performance Notebooks, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX and 670MX. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX and 670MX are kepler based cards and have 4 GB and 3GB GDDR5 memory respectively. Eurocom is launching the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX and 670MX in the EUROCOM Scorpius, Panther Series, Neptune 2.0 and Racer 2.0 high performance, fully upgradeable and customizable notebooks.

NVIDIA GeFore GTX 675MX and 670MX graphics are manufactured on the newest 28nm kepler based GPU architecture from NVIDIA. This technology allows for improved performance, power efficiency and manageability. Featuring a long list of technologies such as PhysX, CUDA, DirectX 11 and OpenCL, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX and 670MX will offer next generation graphics performance for Eurocom notebooks.

Pictures of the Sapphire HD 7950 3 GB graphics card have been leaked on the Guru3D forum by user asder00. No further details or specifications were given other than "Product name: Sapphire HD7950 3G GDDR5 PCI-E HDMI/DVI-I/DUAL MINI DP OC VERSION".

As can be seen by the cooler, this is a non-reference design - at least for the cooler. The cooler is coloured black, has a very modern, sharp, angular and somewhat futuristic look to it and sports two large Sapphire-branded fans. Of course, it has heatpipes and five are visible. The design of this cooler suggests that it should work quietly and cool efficiently. Connectivity is aided and abetted by one DVI port, one full size HDMI port and two mini-DisplayPorts, like on its bigger brother the HD 7970. Moving on to the box, one can see that it has a 384-bit bus and 3 GB GDDR5, again like the HD 7970. The box also shows a logo with "OverClock" written boldly in white on it. The inevitable attractive lady box art in this instance has her wearing a grey top, a partial face mask and a helmet from what looks like the wars of yesteryear, plus she is carrying a rifle over her shoulder.
