Corsair Unveils the Frame 4000D Case Featuring Frame Modular Case System

Corsair is excited to announce the launch of the FRAME 4000D, the first PC case to feature the FRAME Modular Case System. The original 4000 Series was an incredibly successful and well-loved case, selling over two million units. Building on that legacy, this innovative system sets a new standard for customization, offering unmatched flexibility for PC builders to craft their ideal setup. The FRAME 4000D enables seamless modifications and upgrades, allowing components to be swapped, panels to be upgraded, and setups to be personalized with a variety of options.

The FRAME 4000D Series also features the Corsair InfiniRail Fan Mounting System, offering unparalleled flexibility in configuring your cooling, including support for up to 200 mm fans in the front and 140 mm in the roof. This system optimizes cooling performance by accommodating larger fans, such as iCUE LINK RX140 RGB fans, without obstructing airflow with restrictive mounting points. The FRAME 4000D supports dual 360 mm radiators, delivering robust cooling for high-performance systems. With three radiator mounting locations—front, roof, and side—and a 3D Y-Pattern front airflow panel, the case ensures efficient cooling to keep components running smoothly during demanding sessions.

Cooler Master Unveils Cooling X Pro Case with a Unique Liquid Cooling Design

The Cooling X Pro from Cooler Master is a case designed for the "cooling defined build," a high-end PC build where the primary focus is on high-performance liquid cooling of the CPU, GPU, and NVMe SSD. The case reimagines the layout of key components in the build, such as positioning the PSU toward the front, putting the CPU and VGA under a proprietary liquid cooling solution, and using a large, common square 360 mm x 360 mm radiator to dissipate heat from both. This is ventilated by four 180 mm fans.

Besides this unique cooling solution, the Cooling X Pro appears to feature an aluminium inner chassis similar to the MasterFrame Aluminium series that the company also showcased this year. The various panels aren't as modular, the one facing the left side is a curved tempered glass. The right probably features a coarse mesh panel to let the 360 mm x 360 mm radiator breathe.

Cooler Master Unwraps the MasterFrame Series

IBM z16 and LinuxONE 4 Get Single Frame and Rack Mount Options

IBM today unveiled new single frame and rack mount configurations of IBM z16 and IBM LinuxONE 4, expanding their capabilities to a broader range of data center environments. Based on IBM's Telum processor, the new options are designed with sustainability in mind for highly efficient data centers, helping clients adapt to a digitized economy and ongoing global uncertainty.

Introduced in April 2022, the IBM z16 multi frame has helped transform industries with real-time AI inferencing at scale and quantum-safe cryptography. IBM LinuxONE Emperor 4, launched in September 2022, features capabilities that can reduce both energy consumption and data center floor space while delivering the scale, performance and security that clients need. The new single frame and rack mount configurations expand client infrastructure choices and help bring these benefits to data center environments where space, sustainability and standardization are paramount.

EK-Quantum Velocity² Water Blocks for LGA1700 get an ILM Replacement (Contact Frame)

EK, the premium liquid cooling gear manufacturer, is releasing the EK-Quantum Velocity² ILM Replacement - 1700, a product that replaces the motherboard's Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) with a frame that bolsters the structural rigidity of the socket, motherboard, and even the CPU. It is used for cooling 12th and 13th generation Intel Core CPUs with regular EK-Quantum Vector² CPU water blocks, not Direct Die models.

Due to the rectangular and elongated design of these CPUs and the way the stock ILM holds the CPU down, the Intel 12th and 13th-gen CPUs are prone to warping caused by uneven pressure. The new contact frame from EK mitigates this issue as it prevents any warping or bending of the CPU and its surrounding area. This improves the cooling efficiency due to more even pressure applied on the CPU. As a result, the bending is removed and the CPU's center that contains the heat source is no longer concave, enabling improved contact with the cooler.

AZZA Introduces CAST Mid-Tower ATX PC Case with Removable Outer Shell and Independent Frame

AZZA, a leading brand of computer cases and accessories, introduces the CAST ATX PC case that re-imagines the design of a traditional mid-tower. The CAST has a removable outer shell that gives full access to the interior for effortless installation. When fully built, the unique wing design can be completely extended, requiring zero tools to access the interior, or flexed for better airflow. The CAST can even be flipped to a 90-degree orientation.

The CAST design consists of an independent frame and an outer shell with two hinged panels that provides full access to the hardware for maintenance and cleaning, and an easy to latch on/off front panel. When building the system, the entire shell can be easily removed to prevent accidental damages. This also means the shell can be worked on independently for customization purposes.

Raijintek Enyo is an Extremely Modular Open-Frame Full-tower

Raijintek today introduced the Enyo, its biggest and greatest open-frame full-tower chassis. Measuring 707 mm x 398 mm x 659 mm, this monstrosity is a capital-I shaped metal frame with floating tempered glass panels on four sides, and steel panels on two. The left side holds a vast EE-ATX capable motherboard tray and a bottom compartment for stacks of 480 mm x 120 mm radiators; while the right side holds two PSU bays, additional radiator mounts, and drive mounts.

Drives and radiators can be mounted on either sides of the case. Up to twenty three 120 mm or 140 mm fans can be mounted on this case, and you can collectively install up to three completely independent high-end DIY liquid cooling loops. The case is made of 2 mm-thick SECC steel and 3 mm-thick tempered glass. The dual-layer middle partition has passageways for cables and coolant tubes. The company didn't reveal pricing.
A presentation by the company follows.
