GELID debuted the Radiant and Radiant D series case fans at the 2018 Computex, in their 120 mm avatars. These fans are characterized by an innovative new impeller design with sawtooth edges along the business end of the blades, which act as chevrons, and work to minimize noise from the whiplash of the blades; and RGB LED illumination using 9 diodes. What sets the Radiant apart from the Radiant D is the latter's programmable lighting. There are sub-variants of both that include a black frame, or translucent, frost-white plastic. Both feature double ball-bearing hubs. The two also take 4-pin PWM input. The company didn't put out specifications such as speeds, air-flow, or noise outputs, yet.

GELID showed off the Sirroco CPU cooler. This tower-type air cooler features a heavy heatsink coupled with an innovative new fan design from the company. It features a tower-type design, but the aluminium fin-stack is slightly offset away from the motherboard's memory area, for more clearance. Six nickel-plated copper heat pipes make indirect contact with the CPU through a copper base, conveying heat through the fin-stack, which is then ventilated by a Radiant D 120 mm spinner. The included fan features a unique new impeller with sawtooth blade edges to act like chevrons and minimize noise output, a double ball-bearing hub, 4-pin PWM control, and RGB LED lighting over 9 diodes (standard 4-pin RGB header). The cooler can handle thermal loads of up to 200W, and should support a variety of modern CPU sockets.

GELID today announced that it revised the design of its Slim Hero low-profile CPU cooler to support AMD socket AM4 processors. The cooler made its debut way back in 2013. It is rated by its makers to handle thermal loads of up to 136W, which means you can go ahead and use it to cool Ryzen 7-series processors, with a little bit of overclocking thrown in.

With its fan installed, the new Slim Hero Rev B boasts of an extremely low Z-height of 59 mm. It features an aluminium fin-stack heatsink that propagates along the plane of the motherboard, with four 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes conveying heat drawn from the base along both its ends. The included 15 mm-thick 120 mm fan takes in 4-pin PWM input, spins between 750 to 1,600 RPM, pushing up to 52.4 CFM of air, with a noise output ranging between 12 to 25.4 dBA. Besides AM4, the revised Slim Hero supports LGA115x, LGA1366, LGA775, AM3(+), and FM2(+). The new Slim Hero Rev B. will be priced at USD $35.

GELID today introduced its Phantom series CPU coolers. Available in two variants, the Phantom (model: CC-Phantom-01-A), featuring a clear chrome finish with all-black fans; and the Phantom Black (model: CC-Phantom-Black-01-A), featuring a black nickel-plating on the aluminium fins and copper heat pipes; the Phantom is a "D-type" dual fin-stack heatsink cooler. From a copper base, seven nickel-plated copper heat-pipes pass, with aluminium fin-stacks along their two ends. The cooler is designed for thermal loads of up to 200W.

The innovation here is in the thickness of these heat pipes. Three of these are 8 mm-thick, and four are 6 mm-thick. The thicker heat pipes pass through the center of the base, while two of the thinner ones pass through the edges, and two of the thinner ones layer up on top of the central heat pipe. The cooler can mount up to three 120 mm fans, although two are included. The included fans take in 4-pin PWM input, spin between 750-1,600 RPM, with a static pressure of up to 2.18 mmAq, and a noise output of 12-26.7 dBA. Measuring 120 mm x 126 mm x 160 mm (WxDxH, minus fans), the cooler weighs a little over 1 kg. Among the CPU sockets it supports are AM4, LGA2066, and LGA115x. The company didn't reveal pricing but mentioned that the coolers will be backed by a 5-year warranty.

In comparison to other mid-end CPU coolers the "SnowStorm" is built with a unique fin architecture which distributes air flow equally into the heatsink. The company also displayed the Slim Silence i-Plus, a tower-type cooler, in which the aluminium fin stack, and its companion fan are arranged in a way that they don't intrude into space meant for memory slots, VRM heatsinks, or the northbridge heatsink. Like the other three, this one is LGA115x-exclusive, too, and relies on a 90 mm PWM controllable fan to ventilate its aluminium fin stack.

Computer hardware specialist GELID Solutions reveals the "SpeedTouch 6" fan controller of its GAMER product line.

Engineers at GELID Solutions have created a LED fan controller with a touch screen capacitive type. The "SpeedTouch 6" provides a total of 6 channels with 30W performance per channel. This fan controller with an aluminum case is fully compatible to all types of fans using voltage control. Each channel includes a temperature sensor. The speed of each channel can be adjusted automatically or manually. To ensure a definite fan speed accuracy the fan speed is displayed at second digits accuracy e.g if the effective speed is 1653 RPM then it will be displayed as 1650 RPM. The temperature is shown in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Even the brightness of the control panel can be adjusted according to desire.

Engineers at GELID Solutions have upgraded the award-winning GX-7 to the Rev. 2 GX-7 by adding the Slim 12 PL Blue fan and the multi award-winning GC-Extreme thermal compound. Contrary to traditional heat pipe arrangement the Rev. 2 GX-7 offers a special array of heat pipes to take full advantage of all 7 heat pipes heat transfer capacity. Further V-shaped aluminum fins were used in the center of the heat sink to allow airflow to reach the heat sink more evenly.
