GELID today announced the availability of an optional mounting kit for its flagship Silent Spirit CPU cooler. GELID Solutions, a new cooling company which has been formed by the co-founder of Arctic cooling and his associate, have today released their new "Silent Spirit" CPU cooler. This new cooler features four high performance copper heatpipes connected from a copper base to a nickel plated aliminium block of fins. It boasts high performance at low noise levels.

Some nice features about the cooler is that it weighs a mere 370 grams, has a compatibility list covering all Intel Socket 775 & AMD Socket 754/ 939/ 940/ AM2/ AM2+ CPU's and has small dimensions of 108mm (l) x 100.5mm (w) x 125mm (h). The MSRP of the Silent Spirit has been set at USD 35 / Euro 23.
