Valve and Komodo, the licensed provider of Steam Deck in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, are heading to Tokyo Game Show 2022 (TGS) where they're hosting a massive booth showcasing Steam Deck, featuring over 20 gaming titles for showgoers to try. Komodo was recently revealed as the official distributor of Valve's Steam Deck in these regions, and is currently accepting reservations for the powerful handheld device, which is targeted to start shipping later this year.

Located on the north side of Hall 5, the large booth will be an ideal place to get some hands-on experience and discover how light and comfortable it is to play on Steam Deck. Swiftech introduced two new full-coverage water blocks for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti under its Komodo brand. These include the Komodo NV-LE GTX 1080 Ti, and the Komodo NV-ECO GTX 1080 Ti (pictured in that order). The Komodo NV-LE GTX 1080 Ti features a chrome-plated copper base, with a clear acrylic top, that is further topped off by a matte-black aluminium plate with diamond-cut edges. The block includes RGB multi-color LED lighting elements, with a standardized 4-pin LED header. The block features standard G1/4" threading for your fittings.

The Komodo NV-ECO GTX 1080 Ti is a "lite" version of the NV-LE. It features the same exact block base made of chrome-plated copper, but features a clear acrylic top, which lacks the aluminium top-plate featured on the NV-LE. It also lacks the RGB LED elements and Iris-Eco lighting controller, but features preparation for them, so you can optionally order them, or add them later down the line. Both blocks are also compatible with NVIDIA TITAN Xp. The Komodo NV-LE GTX 1080 Ti is priced at USD $169.95, while the Komodo NV-ECO GTX 1080 Ti goes for $119.95.

Swiftech today introduced the Komodo Luxury Edition (NV-LE) full-coverage water block for the NVIDIA TITAN X Pascal graphics card. This block is a premium variant of the Komodo Eco block recently announced for the TITAN X Pascal. What sets the two apart is the opaque metal element that covers the acrylic top over all parts except the coolant channel; and an included green LED lighting kit (which has to be purchased separately for the NV-ECO). The underlying block is still nickel-plated copper; with the same exact coolant channel and heat-dissipation micro-fin lattice over the GPU; as the NV-ECO. The Komodo Luxury Edition (NV-LE) block for the TITAN X Pascal is priced at US $169.95.

Swiftech rolled out its flagship full-coverage water block that's suitable for NVIDIA's reference PCB for the GeForce GTX 980 Ti and GeForce GTX Titan X, the Swiftech Komodo Eco Titan X. Made of nickel-plated copper, with a clear acrylic top, the block features a main coolant channel that passes along the length of the card, with micro-fin channels over the GPU area. The block covers the memory on the obverse side of the PCB, as well as the VRM. It also includes a back-plate, thermal pads for 24 memory chips, and MOSFETs, thermal paste for the GPU, and 1/4" BSPP (G1/4) thread fittings preparation. Available now, the block is priced at US $115.95, and the back-plate adds $29.95. It can also be purchased separately.

Swiftech today announced the release for retail sales of the Komodo HD7970 waterblock for AMD's Radeon HD 7970 graphics card.

Covering the full-length of the card to protect its fragile components, and featuring an enhanced thermal design, illuminated bridge, and a comprehensive package including single-slot PCI bracket and a back-plate, this is the most sophisticated full-cover waterblock offered by Swiftech to date. Companion accessories complete the offering with optional CrossFireX bridges and adjustable connectors for multiple card configurations.

Swiftech is almost ready with a high-end, full-coverage water block for AMD Radeon HD 7970 graphics card, which its makers are touting as being a "real" full coverage block, as it's not only making contacts with all critical hot components of the card, but also physically covering the entire area of the PCB, including its reverse side, with a backplate (something that's not part of the AMD reference design). The company released CGI drawings of its product to the web.

Called the Komodo HD 7970, the block confines itself to the size of one expansion slot with an included single-slot bracket. The monolithic black design adds a lot to the aesthetics of the card, including its fittings area. The primary material of the block is nickel-plated copper. The portion of the block over the GPU has a 0.25x0.25 Micro Pin matrix, which maximizes heat dissipation to the coolant. Unlike other full-coverage blocks where a portion of the block that doesn't have flowing coolant makes contact with the VRM, the Komodo HD 7970 has "active" VRM cooling, where the area over the VRM has its own coolant chamber, and is part of the coolant's primary flow.
