Sharkoon expands its range of low-priced PC cases and introduces four new mini towers with the MA-A1000, MA-I1000, MA-M1000 and MA-W1000 for µATX mainboards. The cases are nearly identical and differ mainly in just the optics.

True to the motto "Save on space - not on possibilities!" the cases in the series provide, despite their compact size of 415 x 185 x 360 millimeters, space for up to eight hard drives/SSDs, which can be decoupled installed. In addition, graphics cards up to 340 millimeters in length as well as CPU coolers with a maximum height of 165 millimeters can be installed. The cases contain two 5.25" drive bays and a 3.5" drive bay. Pre-installed is also a Sharkoon BayExtension. Through this special installation frame up to four additional Solid State Disks can be attached. Two pre-installed fans, a 140 mm fan in the front and a 120 mm in the rear of the case ensure continuous air flow. Removable dust filters are located on the front and lower ventilation openings. In the versions without a window, an optional fan on the side panel can be installed.

Lian Li is currently preparing the release of a new, all-aluminum chassis, a mini tower with the model number PC-V358. Pictured below, this case measures 324 (W) x 286 (H) x 390 (D) mm, it weighs 4.2 kg, and features support for Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, a side I/O panel with USB 3.0 (x 2) and HD audio ports, one slim 5.25-inch drive bay, two 2.5-inch and six 3.5-inch drive bays, four PCI slots, and three 120 mm fans - two in front and one at the rear.

The PC-V358 comes in two color versions - black and silver, and is listed on pre-order at €137.

Corsair, a worldwide designer of high-performance components for the PC hardware market, today announced the new Graphite Series 230T mid-tower PC case. Available in three colors, Battleship Grey, Rebel Orange, and Black, the new case combines dramatic, angular styling and the builder-friendly features, expandability, and flexibility that Corsair cases are known for.

The Graphite Series 230T case features a sculpted, aggressively styled steel exterior with color coordinated LED intake fans and a tinted side panel window. BIOSTAR has released their newest micro-ATX motherboard based on the Intel H81 chipset, the "Hi-Fi H81S3". The board supports the Intel 4th generation Core i7 and Core i5 processors. It features Intel single chip architecture with HD 4600Graphics, along with a new integrated memory controller that will run at speeds up to 1600MHz. The H81 chipset has two SATA 6Gb/s ports (plus four SATA 3Gb/s ports), and two USB 3.0 headers. The "Hi-Fi H81S3" supports one DIMM per memory channel for a maximum of two sticks of RAM for up to 16Gigs. The "Hi-Fi H81S3" is a great option for small form factor systems where you rarely have more than one discrete card and two SATA drives. Being Intel based boards, they will also feature Intel Rapid Start Technology and Intel Smart Connect Technology.

Korean company Zalman has just introduced a new, compact PC chassis, a model called ZM-T4 that features support for Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards. The case measures 189 x 427.5 x 364 mm, is painted black inside and out, and has a top-placed I/O panel (with audio, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports), one 5.25-inch bay, two 3.5-inch and three 2.5-inch drive bays, one 120 mm fan in front and a 92 mm fan at the rear. Moreover, it comes with four PCI slots and can house graphics cards up to 300 mm long.

This board also has an Ultra Durable 4 Classic design, two DDR3-1866 memory slots, eight SATA 6.0 Gbps ports, one PCIe x1 and two PCIe x16 slots, Gigabit Ethernet, 5.1-channel audio, plus two USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports.

Biostar has now let loose a new motherboard supporting Intel's 2nd and 3rd generation Core processors, the H61MLV2 which is powered by the H61 chipset and comes in a micro ATX form factor.
