DeepCool Unveils the Tesseract Mid-Tower PC Chassis

In addition to revealing the Pangu, DeepCool has this week introduced a second mid-tower PC case, a model called Tesseract. Set to arrive in black and white versions, the chassis measures 472 x 210 x 454 mm, it weighs 5.1 kg, and features a mesh front panel, top-placed audio and USB (one USB 3.0, one USB 2.0) ports, seven PCI slots, and support for ATX and micro-ATX motherboards, and for graphics cards up to 305 mm in length.

The Tesseract offers three 5.25-inch bays, three 2.5-inch, and four 3.5-inch drive trays and comes equipped with two 120 mm fans - one with LEDs in front, and one light-free at the rear. For extra cooling, there's the option to install an extra four 120 mm fans - two on the top panel and two on the side. No word yet on pricing.

DeepCool Intros Pangu ATX Mid-Tower Case

DeepCool announced its Pangu ATX mid-tower case. It's characterised by a wider than normal body, letting you install tall graphics cards, and manage your cable spaghetti behind the motherboard tray better, since there's 2 cm of gap between the motherboard tray and the right panel. The case seats standard ATX motherboard types, with cutouts for CPU cooler and cable management. The drive storage area includes three 5.25-inch drive bays, and six 3.5/2.5-inch bays split between two detachable 3-bay cages. The drive cages, and expansion slot covers are tool-free.

Moving on to the cooling area, the case features two 120 mm front intakes, with which you can make room for a 120 x 240 mm radiator by detaching the 3.5/2.5-inch cages; two 120 mm top exhausts, which can accommodate another radiator, a unique 120 mm conveyor behind the 5.25-inch drive cage, one 120 mm bottom intake, and a 120 mm rear exhaust. The perforated steel panels covering the front and top vents can be detached without any tools. Front panel connectivity includes two each of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0/1.1 ports, and HD audio jacks. The case is made of SECC steel and ABS plastic. It's available in black with deep blue, and white with hints of blue. DeepCool didn't announce pricing.

BitFenix Shadow Mid-Tower Cases Unveiled

BitFenix company has been known for specializing in releasing high quality computer cases at truly affordable prices. Today is premiere of a new model codenamed Shadow. The chassis has a stylish front door, which opens to the left and has sports ventilation holes at the bottom. Under holes you can find special modding back-light, which can be turned to blue, red or just off. On gaming forums some players say that after installing red light glowing from their computer, they started to achieve better results in clan matches. In the end red color raises our blood pressure and gives more power to fight.

Behind the front door, we can find three 5.25" bays, where you can install a Blu-Ray burner, memory card reader, fan controller, reservoir for water cooling or even LCD display of temperatures inside the computer. Under 5.25" slots there is a place where you can slide in seven 3.5" HDD and one 2.5" SSD - all without using any tools. Inside BitFenix Shadow you can mount ATX, microATX and lately very popular Mini-ITX mainboards. The maximum graphic cards length inside the case is 320mm and a CPU cooler can have height of 165 mm.

Lian Li Unveils the PC-10N Mid-Tower PC Chassis

Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd, today announces a new brushed aluminum mid tower chassis with side mounted radiator support, PC-10N. Besides allowing for a 240 mm radiator to be placed on a hinged bracket, the PC-10N forgoes the traditional motherboard tray, and instead implements a railing mount design for increased thermal performance and better cable management.

A hinged bracket directly across the CPU allows DIY builders to install a 240 mm radiator in the PC-10N. The bracket secured by thumbscrews can be swung open on its hinge to allow for easy access of the internal components.

Enermax Introduces COENUS Mid-Tower Chassis

Enermax, building on the strength and features of their Fulmo ST series, has released the COENUS series of chassis. Like the Fulmo ST, the COENUS features a three-dimensional black iron mesh for optimal cooling and an overall exciting visual effect. This fully covered chassis' grill mesh allows for superior ventilation for cooling.

The COENUS has 30mm of clearance for easy backside cable routing. On the side is a chic, full-cover acrylic side panel; one of the iconic features from Enermax where the builder can show off an individual or customized interior. This design with wide expansion allows the installation of high-end tower type components.

Thermaltake Announces Level 10 GTS Mid-Tower Chassis

Thermaltake, being the industry pioneer brand with expertise in PC power and thermal solutions, continues to drive toward the corporate mission of "delivering the perfect user experience" as the optimized mission. The windowed version of Thermaltake Level 10 GTS and Level 10 GTS snow Edition, born as a member of collaborations between Thermaltake and BMW's DesignWorks, shrink the size but not the fine characters.

The Thermaltake Level 10 GTS series mid-tower chassis, inheriting the unique shape of Level 10 and Level 10 GT with 4 EasySwap PitStop HDD bays, equipped USB 3.0 front ports, advanced cable management, tool-free drive locking devices and HDD security lock system. It also contains a large transparent side window for displaying enthusiasts and gamers grand internal components. SilverStone RL04 Mid-Tower Chassis Revealed

SilverStone is now preparing a new Redline series PC case, a mid-tower called RL04 which is painted black both inside and out and offers support for ATX and micro ATX motherboards, and for graphics cards up to 11.5 inches long.

The RL04 measures 220 (W) x 480 (H) x 523 (D) mm, it weights 6.2 kg and has two side-placed USB 3.0 ports, four 5.25-inch and five 3.5/2.5-inch drive bays, seven PCI slots, and one 120 mm front intake fan. No word yet on the case's price tag.

Abee Unveils Acubic D80 Series ATX Mid-Tower Cases

Japanese PC case maker Abee unveiled the Acubic D80 series ATX mid-tower cases. It is characterized by thick steel panels, which can be 1 mm-thick in some parts (such as detachable panels), and 0.8 mm-thick on others (such as the framework). The thicker steel makes it heavy, but also vibrates lesser, resulting in lower noise output by vibration. The outer walls of the panels are given a fine matte finish that doesn't invite prints.

Internally, the Acubic D80 uses two drive cages, one which stacks drives on top of each other, and the other besides each other, like dominoes. The arrangement creates over 32 cm of legroom for expansion cards. A total of five 3.5-inch drives, a slot of one of which converts to two 2.5-inch bays, can be installed.

Xigmatek Readies the Talon Mid-Tower Chassis

Xigmatek is currently preparing the introduction of Talon, the first PC case in the company's new, Stealth Series offering. The Talon is a mid-tower chassis which features a rubber coating on its top and front panels, support for ATX, micro ATX and mini ITX motherboards, three 5.25-inch and eight 3.5-inch bays (five 3.5-inch trays can be used to hold 2.5-inch drives), two top-placed USB 3.0 ports, and a side window.

Xigmatek's case also has two pre-installed fans - a 200 mm model in front and a 140 mm spinner at the rear, and can house graphics cards up to 330 mm long. The Talon's price tag is not yet known.

NOX Releases the NX-3 Mid-Tower PC Case

NOX XTREME PRODUCTS has updated its PC chassis offering with the release of a new mid-tower model, the NX-3. This all-black case measures 190 (W) x 470 (H) x 433 (D) mm and has one USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, three 5.25-inch bays, one 2.5-inch and four 3.5-inch internal drive bays, and a front 120 mm fan equipped with red LEDs.

The NX-3 can be found priced at €37.67.

Zalman Also Announces Z5 and Z5 Plus ATX Mid-Tower Cases

Apart from the ZM-LE value PSUs, Zalman also introduced the Z5 and Z5 Plus cases. The two ATX mid-tower cases share a common design, with the exception of the Z5 Plus featuring a few extras. The Z5 series features an angled polygon shape which has been the rage for some time now. It features all-black exteriors and interiors, with matte finish. Made of SECC steel, it measures 205 x 460 x 490 mm (WxHxD). The motherboard tray is spacious enough to support graphics cards as long as 33 cm. Drive bays include three external 5.25-inch, one external 3.5-inch, three 3.5-inch, and two 2.5-inch. The case features 7 expansion slots.

Ventilation loadout for both the Z5 and Z5 Plus is common, with one 120 mm front intake, one 120 mm top exhaust, and one 120 mm rear exhaust. The Z5 features front and rear fans, while the Z5 Plus also includes a top fan. The Z5 Plus also includes a 2-channel fan controller. Other exclusives with the Z5 Plus include an acrylic window and USB 3.0 front-panel port. The motherboard tray features a cutout behind the CPU socket area, while the rear portion features valved inlets for liquid cooling tubing. The Z5 from Zalman is priced at US $67, while the Z5 Plus goes for just $3 more, at $70.

Akasa Cavalry Mid-Tower Case Pictured

Akasa unveiled its newest entry-level ATX mid-tower chassis, the Cavalry. The case is designed for gaming PC builds on a shoestring budget. Measuring 180 x 370 x 418 mm, and weighing about 5 kg, the Akasa Cavalry makes use of steel (frame, panels), and ABS plastic (front/façade). It features two 5.25-inch drive bays, one exposed and about five discrete 3.5-inch bays. The PSU tray is located on the top of the case, the motherboard tray has a few cable-management holes, although it lacks one that makes it easy to deal with coolers with back-plates. Ventilation includes one 120 mm red LED-lit front-intake (included), one 80 mm rear exhaust (included), and provision for a fan on the side panel. It is priced at 29.90 €.

Enermax Display Pair of New ATX Mid-Tower Cases

Enermax displayed a pair of upcoming ATX mid-tower cases. The company hasn't finalized names of the two. One of them is labeled under Enermax' main brand (model: ECA3260), while the other, under its Ostrog series (ECA3270). The ECA3260 is designed to be extremely airy thanks to its fully-perforated front; while the CM HAF-looking ECA3270 offers "massive HDD storage room" (we count 8 3.5/2.5-inch bays). Both cases are capable of holding large (240 mm) fans, and feature largely tool-free interiors. Both cases make good use of the company's Vegas series fans for styling/illumination. Enermax will launch the the two cases in the second half of 2012.

Enermax Ostrog Window Entry Level Mid-Tower Case Pictured

Over the weekend, Enermax unveiled the windowed Ostrog ATX mid-tower chassis (model: ECA3253-BR) in Asia. Ostrog made its first appearance at this year's CeBIT event, in early-March. The exhibited variant, however, lacked a side-panel window. Pictured below, the case features a large acrylic window that has vents cut into it, for two 120 mm fans.

Ostrog is an ATX mid-tower case that's all black (interior and exterior), with a colored frame on its front-panel. It has four exposed 5.25" drive bays, and one exposed 3.5" bay. Including that, there are six 3.5" bays. A set of three 3.5" drive bays is detachable, creating extra headroom (413 mm) for long graphics cards. With the drive cage in place, there's about 286 mm of room for graphics cards.

SAMA Introduces Nighthawk 2 Value Mid-Tower Case

Chinese company SAMA introduced Nighthawk 2, a value ATX mid-tower case, priced at just 299 RMB (US $47.4). Despite its low cost, it offers a host of new features, aesthetic touches, and a good load-out of fans. Measuring 450 x 200 x 420 mm (WxDxH), the case is made of ABS and SECC/steel. It features an all-black interior and exterior, with a red acrylic side panel window, which slightly protrudes. Most of its front-panel is perforated.

The case is spacious enough to hold 300 mm-long graphics cards. Drive bays include four 5.25" and six 3.5", all of which are tool-free. Its ventilation system includes one 120 mm red LED-lit front intake, one 120 mm exhaust between the 3.5" drive cage and the motherboard tray, one 120 mm rear exhaust, and two 120 mm top exhausts. The front utility panel includes four USB 2.0 ports, and audio.

Overclockers UK presents: Xigmatek Asgard Pro Midi-Tower Case

Lancool Announces New Mid-Tower Chassis - PC-K65

Lancool, a manufacturer of mid- to high-end computer chassis, announces their new mid-tower PC chassis - PC-K65 - designed for ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards.

Equipped with 2 modular HDD racks, the Lancool PC-K65 supports up to six 3.5-inch HDDs and four 2.5-inch HDDs or SSDs, which can be set to face forward or backward. For those who prefer longer VGA cards the top cage module can be removed, giving users a full 415 mm of interior space. The racks' tool-less design allows users to easily install their hard drives with the included thumbscrews. Vibrations are kept to a minimum with the rubber suspension.

Cooler Master Debuts the Elite 372 PC Chassis

Cooler Master has today announced the European release of a new Elite Series PC case, the Elite 372 mid-tower. This model measures 192.5 x 427 x 498.3 mm, it weights 4.6 kg, and features a steel body, ATX and micro ATX motherboard support, three 5.25-inch and six 3.5-inch bays (with tool-free mounting), and a front I/O panel with USB 2.0 (x 2), Mic (x 1) and Audio (x 1) ports.

The Elite 372 also has seven PCI expansion slots, top and bottom dust filters, and can be equipped with up to seven fans. Its recommended price tag is 39.90 Euro.

Aerocool Debuts the Vs-3 and Vs-3 Advance Mid-Tower Cases

Aerocool has just added a couple of new PC cases to its PGS-V (V for Value) Series, the Vs-3 and Vs-3 Advance mid-towers featuring a 0.5 mm steel structure, a black coating inside and out, and support for ATX and micro ATX motherboards, and for graphics cards up to 400 mm long.

The cases measure 440 (H) x 180 (W) x 475 (D) mm and have three exposed 5.25-inch bays with tool-free mounting, six 3.5-inch internal bays, seven PCI slots, two pre-drilled holes at the rear for watercooling tubing, and a 120 mm (1200 RPM) fan at the back (the Vs-3 Advance also includes a front 120 mm fan with blue LEDs).

The Vs-3 costs 34.99 Euro and comes with a front I/O panel boasting two USB 2.0 ports (and two audio connectors) while the Vs-3 Advance is priced at 39.99 Euro and has two USB 3.0 front ports.

LanCool Unveils the PC-K56N Mid-tower PC Case

Lian Li today introduced a new LanCool-branded PC chassis, a mid-tower model called PC-K56N which features support for ATX, micro ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, and can house graphics cards up to 415 mm long.

Made part of the Dragon Lord Series, the PC-K56N measures 210 (W) x 472 (H) x 505 (D) mm, has a steel structure and includes a front I/O panel with two USB 2.0 ports and two audio connectors, three exposed 5.25-inch bays (with tool-free mounting ), an adjustable HDD/SSD rack supporting three 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives, eight (vented) PCI slots, two pre-drilled holes at the rear for routing watercooling tubing, and two fans, one 140 mm spinner in front and an 120 mm model at the back.

The LanCool PC-K56N has a recommended price tag of $99 (VAT not included).

Aerocool Launches the Strike-X One & Strike-X One Advance PC cases

Taiwan-based Aerocool Advanced Technologies has just announced the European release of two new Strike-X Series mid-tower PC cases, the Strike-X One and Strike-X One Advance. Both models feature a steel structure, are painted black both inside and out, and have support for ATX and micro ATX motherboards, four 5.25-inch drive bays (with tool-free mounting systems), six 3.5-inch internal bays, a PSU dust filter, and pre-drilled holes for watercooling tubes and cables.

The Strike-X One has an I/O panel with two USB 2.0 ports, and is equipped with one 120 mm rear fan, while the Strike-X One Advance comes with two USB 3.0 ports, a 120 mm rear fan, and a front 120 mm fan with red LEDs. The Strike-X One and Strike-X One Advance cost 34.99 Euro and 39.99 Euro, respectively.

Cougar Solution Mid-Tower Case to Reach Europe Next Week

Announced one month ago, the Solution PC chassis made by Cougar is set to become available in European stores next week. Pictured below, this case measures 198 (W) x 425 (H) x 484 (D) mm, and features an all-black paint job, a front I/O panel with USB 2.0 (x 1) and USB 3.0 (x 1) ports, three exposed 5.25-inch bays and six internal 3.5-inch bays (all with tool-free mounting systems), two pre-drilled holes for watercooling tubing and a single 120 mm fan (found at the rear).

Cougar's Solution will cost 55 Euro.
