ADATA XPG Unveils CRUISER Super Mid-Tower Chassis

SilverStone over the weekend introduced the SETA Q1, a premium ATX mid-tower case with a design focus on silence. The case attempts to achieve soundproofing without compromising on ventilation. You can go ahead and mount up to three 140 mm fans along the front panel, ditto the top panel, and one 140 mm at the rear; and SilverStone claims that the company's soundproofing innovations should significantly lower their noise. The front-panel features a sound-proofing chamber that works like a silencer. Its body panels are lined not just with sound-proofing foam, but also asphalt.

Inside, the SilverStone SETA Q1 offers room for motherboards up to SSI-EEB, E-ATX size, graphics cards up to 39.4 cm in length, CPU coolers up to 18.2 cm in height, and PSUs up to 25 cm in length. The case can hold up to two 3.5-inch drives, and four 2.5-inch ones through mounts. In addition to 7 conventionally-located expansion slots, you get two vertical ones. Front-panel connectivity includes two USB3 type-A ports, one USB3 type-C, and a headset jack. Measuring 232 mm x 493.5 mm x 490.7 mm (WxHxD), the case dry-weighs 11.64 kg. Available from October 2021 in parts of Asia, and November or December in North America and Europe, the SilverStone SETA Q1 will be priced around USD $220.

AeroCool Unveils Gladiator Duo Mid-Tower Case

AeroCool today unveiled the Gladiator Duo, an ATX mid-tower case with a touch of bilateral symmetry in its design. An ARGB lighting strip runs along the height of the case at the front-panel. The front fan intakes are located along the bottom- and top edges of the front-panel. The actual front-panel I/O is located along the top, next to a 2x 120 mm top exhaust. Tempered glass covers the left side-panel. Inside, the case features a horizontally-partitioned layout. You get room for graphics cards up to 32.6 cm in length, and CPU coolers up to 16 cm in height.

Ventilation options on the AeroCool Gladiator Duo include either three 120 mm or two 140 mm intakes along the front-panel; two 120 mm top exhausts, and a 120 mm rear exhaust. Storage includes two 3.5-inch/2.5-inch trays, a 3.5-inch/2.5-inch mount on top of the tray, and two additional 2.5-inch mounts behind the motherboard tray. Front-panel connectivity includes two USB3 type-A, and HDA jacks. The case measures 210 mm x 519 mm x 404 mm (WxHxD), and is made mostly of SPCC steel. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Despite this, you get room for graphics cards up to 32 cm in length, CPU coolers up to 17 cm in height, and PSUs up to 20 cm in length. The PSU bay is oriented sideways in this vertically-partitioned case. Two clear tempered-glass panels cover the front- and left-sides. Storage options include two 3.5-inch trays that can each hold 2.5-inch drives, and three additional 2.5-inch mounts behind the motherboard tray. The Aquarius S measures 349 mm x 285 mm x 430 mm (DxWxH). The company didn't reveal pricing.

ZALMAN Intros Z8 Series Mid-Tower Cases

ZALMAN today introduced the Z8 line of ATX mid-tower cases. These include the standard Z8, with its mesh front-panel and fans that don't light up; the Z8 MS with fans that do; and the Z8 TG, which replaces the mesh front panel of the Z8 and Z8 MS, for one made of tempered glass. The side panels on these cases are hinged, and can open like doors. Inside, the Z8 series feature a conventional horizontally-partitioned layout, with the upper compartment serving up room for graphics cards up to 35 cm in length, and CPU coolers up to 16.2 cm in height.

Ventilation options on the Z8 series include either three 120 mm or two 140 mm front intakes, two 140/120 mm top exhausts, and a 120 mm rear exhaust. Storage options include two 3.5-inch/2.5-inch drive trays, and four additional 2.5-inch mounts. Front-panel connectivity includes two USB 3.x type-A ports, a USB 2.0 port, and HDA jacks. The case measures 460 mm x 212 mm x 493 mm (DxWxH), dry-weighing around 6.8 kg. The company didn't reveal pricing.

AZZA Introduces CAST Mid-Tower ATX PC Case with Removable Outer Shell and Independent Frame

AZZA, a leading brand of computer cases and accessories, introduces the CAST ATX PC case that re-imagines the design of a traditional mid-tower. Antec today rolled out the DF700 FLUX, an ATX mid-tower case characterized by a unique design for its high-airflow front-panel mesh intake. Rather than a flat panel shape for its mesh, the DF700's mesh curves to the pattern of a wavefront. The top panel features the case's second large mesh vent, while the left side panel is tinted tempered glass. Inside, the case features a conventional horizontally partitioned layout, with the upper compartment that houses the motherboard tray, offering room for graphics cards up to 40.5 cm in length, and CPU coolers up to 17.5 cm in height.

Ventilation options in the DF700 FLUX include three 140 mm / 120 mm front intakes, either three 120 mm or two 140 mm top exhausts, a 120 mm rear exhaust, and two 120 mm conveyors between the bottom and top compartments. The case includes a 5-channel fan+ARGB controller. Storage options include two 3.5-inch drive-bays, a 3.5-inch mount, and three 2.5-inch mounts for a total of six spaces. Front panel connectivity includes a pair of USB 3.x type-A, and HDA jacks. The case measures 467 mm x 220 mm x 486 mm (DxWxH).
