EINAREX Fans, AIO CLCs, and CPU Air Coolers at 2025 International CES

EINAREX brought a slick little lineup of fans, AIO CLCs, and air-based CPU coolers, to the 2025 International CES. The EINAREX EX12CI is a premium and durable fan designed for moderate air pressure, but low noise due to the profile of its impeller blades. It features the company's unique lighting design consisting of four silicone diffusers near the edges of the fan frame, each with a couple of addressable RGB LEDs. The fan features a fluid-dynamic bearing. It comes in white and black. The EX12A trades some of that silence for higher airflow, with a different impeller profile. It retains the fluid-dynamic bearing, and lighting design.

The EINAREX Echo line of AIO CLCs come with two or three EX12A fans depending on the model and radiator size, which ventilate a 240 mm or 360 mm radiator. The star attraction with these is a cubical pump-block with what looks like a 2.7-inch true-color LCD. Besides radiator sizes, the Echo series come in white or black color trims. The EINAREX Vertex is essentially the same cooler as the Echo, but with a 3-D glass structure on top of the pump-block which displays the company logo as a hologram. There are addressable LEDs studded, so you can change the color of this holographic logo.

HAVIT Showcases Headsets, Keyboards and Gaming Mice at CES 2025

HAVIT's booth at CES 2025 gained attention not only for its minimalist yet futuristic design but also for its product lineup, which ranged from headset series equipped with spatial audio technology and wireless gaming headsets to a variety of mechanical keyboards and gaming mice. The FUXI-H8 Gaming Headset features an open-ear design with dynamic RGB lighting, six-mode connectivity, and spatial audio with head tracking. Next to it, we found the FUXI-H7 over-ear headset offering spatial audio, five-mode connectivity, and a noise-canceling microphone.

The HAVIT KB896L is a 70% (362 mm x 132 mm x 32 mm) compact wired keyboard with a gasket structure and CNC aluminium body. It features RGB backlighting, hot-swappable design, and full N-Key rollover support. HAVIT also displayed the KB904L (348 mm x 140 mm x 45 mm, 85 keys) magnetic switch mechanical keyboard, featuring an 8 kHz polling rate, rapid 0.08 mm trigger, and RGB lighting. The HAVIT MS979WB is a lightweight 59 g tri-mode optical gaming mouse with an RGB charging dock and up to 26,000 DPI.

DarkFlash Cooling at 2025 CES: Compound Fan with Segment Displays, and Stackable Fans

A rather recent cooling concept with the growing popularity of liquid cooling and radiators, is compound fans. These are monolithic frames with multiple fanlets. The design eliminates visible cabling among the fans, as well as the number of screws needed to mount one onto a radiator. DarkFlash put the space gained from this design (such as the gaps between the fanlets) to use with segment LED displays that put out useful information such as air temperature, and fan speed. The fan connects to your machine over a single PWM cable, and a single RGB cable. That's not all, it even communicates to a control module with a larger segment display that lets you control its speed, lighting, and monitor parameters. Next up, are the company's Gauss G-series fan sets. These are individual 120 mm fans that feature interlocks, letting you mount up to six of them onto radiators. The interlocking eliminates cable clutter.

Keychron Announces K8 QMK V2 TKL Keyboard With Improved Customization and New Switch Options

Keychron, known for its often reasonably priced, customizable mechanical keyboards, has announced the second iteration of the K8 QMK. The new TKL (80%) keyboard sports updated internal materials for added sound dampening. The new K8 QMK is available with the usual selection of mechanical switch types and two different frame designs, catering to different market segments. Compared to the original K8 Wireless, the K8 Wireless V2 has updated Bluetooth connectivity, QMK support, and new, custom Keychron switches.

The new Keychron K8 QMK V2 shares many similarities with its predecessor, including the same $99 starting price, although there are some differences that are likely to make V2 an attractive option for mechanical keyboard enthusiasts. The biggest physical change is the move from shine-through OEM profile ABS keycaps to shine-through double-shot Cherry profile PBT keycaps, which are bound to be a mixed bag in enthusiast communities. On the one hand, many enthusiasts prefer the sound of ABS keycaps, but the Cherry profile is often highly regarded for comfort and ergonomics. While the external physical changes are mostly rather moderate, the internals have been significantly more impressive, with QMK firmware—and Keychron Launcher customization support—being the most important of the functional changes. That QMK support apparently comes at a cost, though, since the new Keychron K8 QMK V2 comes with the same battery capacity but significantly lower battery life when connected wirelessly, despite the move from Bluetooth 5.1 to Bluetooth 5.2. Keychron claims that the K8 QMK V2 can last up to 190 hours on Bluetooth without backlighting and up to 100 hours with the backlighting at its lowest brightness. Meanwhile, the original K8 is capable of up to 240 hours with the backlight off, with RGB backlighting coming in lower than the new K8 QMK V2, at up to 72 hours with the backlight enabled. The K8 QMK V2 also has new inner foam layers for sound dampening, which might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it helps provide more customization options.

ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend 12GB "Battlemage" Graphics Card Pictured

FunkyIT scored an ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend 12 GB "Battlemage" graphics card that they previewed on their channel. The card appears fairly large, considering that Intel is positioning the B580 to be an upper-mid range GPU, if we go by the naming convention of the previous "Alchemist" generation, and the A580. The ASRock Steel Legend product features a large, aluminium dual fin-stack cooler featuring a trio of fans, and what looks like a metallic, dual-tone cooler shroud and backplate combo. The PCB underneath is a little over half the length of the card, which means nearly half the heatsink's airflow passes through the card and out large cutouts in the backplate.

The card draws power from a pair of 8-pin PCIe power connectors, a combination rated for up to 375 W power delivery. Previous leaks suggest that the ASRock B580 Steel Legend features RGB lighting in the form of a large Steel Legend ornament on top of the card, and the three fans each feature RGB LED lighting. FunkyIT also showed off the retail box of the card. There's no change in the Intel Arc main branding, but attention is given to the Intel XeSS technology logo, which mentions "AI Upscaling." The XMX cores, which are the main AI acceleration hardware on discrete Arc GPUs, get their own separate branding on the box. Intel isn't just going after gamers, but also creators, and AI acceleration markets. "Play, Create, Generate," reads the box.
