The Storage Products Business Unit of Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc., a committed technology leader, announces the next generation of high-capacity 3.5-inch form factor enterprise hard disk drive (HDD) - the MG04 series. Engineered for midline and nearline business critical workloads, the MG04 series is the industry's first enterprise capacity category models supporting industry standard 4K Advanced Format sector technologies as well as persistent write cache technology, which improves both performance and reliability. Toshiba Announces PX02SS SSD for Write-Intensive Workloads

The Storage Products Business Unit of Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc., a committed technology leader, announces a new addition to its family of enterprise solid state drives (eSSD), the PX02SS. In capacities of up to 800GB1, the new 2.5-inch form factor SAS interface eSSD is designed for various write-intensive enterprise applications and is ideally suited for large workloads, such as data processing and online transactions.

The PX02SS features a 12 Gb/s SAS interface, and select models offer industry standard self-encrypting technology. Samsung SAS SSDs Certified for Use with VMware Virtual SAN

ASRock Shows Off Z87-Extreme11/ac Build with 22 SSDs

ASRock Z87-Extreme11/ac motherboard can connect to no less than 22 drives over its six SATA 6 Gb/s, and sixteen SAS3 ports, so why not show it off? It's just that ASRock chose 22 Plextor M5 Pro SSDs, which make for a creepy cemetery-like sight.
