Alphacool Introduces 120mm and 140mm Versions of Its Core Reservoir Series

Small - but powerful! Alphacool presents new sizes of the popular Core reservoir. This should not be missing in any performance-orientated custom water cooling system in which CPU and graphics card(s) are cooled simultaneously. The reservoir is available in two sizes, both with and without a pump.

The chrome-plated brass G1/4' connections are a stylish and elegant element of the Core reservoir. The connections, which are embedded in the acrylic and fitted with an O-ring, are absolutely leak-proof and support the clear and functional look of the Alphacool Core Design series. Alphacool's Core reservoir is made of high-quality acrylic glass, which allows a clear view of the coolant. Brilliant lighting is made possible by the built-in, digitally addressable aRGB lighting.

Alphacool Presents Apex Series of Cases/Waterblocks and Server ES 2U/4U Solutions

During Computex 2024, Alphacool presented its latest case lineup optimized for water cooling, in addition to more water cooling componentry. The Apex Pro Skeleton Carbon Case is a modular enclosure optimized for advanced water cooling setups. It is crafted from real carbon fiber tubes and reinforced with CNC-milled aluminium corners. It can be completely dismantled and reconfigured to suit the user's precise requirements. By utilizing a modular approach, users can change the system layout, optimize airflow, and achieve their unique cooling goals. Previously showcased at Computex 2023, the plan was for two SKU: Alphacool Apex Pro Skeleton Carbon Case and the Alphacool Apex Skeleton aluminium Case, the latter of which does not include a distribution plate or support for a vertical graphics card. The Apex Pro case with a custom distro plate will be available for $899, while the case-only solution will be available for $499.

Intel Announces Next-Generation Acceleration Card to Deliver 5G

Today at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019, Intel announced the Intel FPGA Programmable Acceleration Card N3000 (Intel FPGA PAC N3000), designed for service providers to enable 5G next-generation core and virtualized radio access network solutions. The Intel FPGA PAC N3000 accelerates many virtualized workloads, ranging from 5G radio access networks to core network applications.

"As the mobile and telecommunications industry gears up for an explosion in internet protocol traffic and 5G rollouts, we designed the Intel FPGA PAC N3000 to provide the programmability and flexibility with the performance, power efficiency, density and system integration capabilities the market needs to fully support the capabilities of 5G networks," said Reynette Au, Intel vice president of marketing, Programmable Solutions Group.

Alphacool Introduces the Eisstation Series of Compact Reservoirs

Alphacool has just made available another line of products, in the form of their new Eisstation series of compact reservoirs. Alphacool has carved three new products based on this reservoir design, the Alphacool Eisstation DC-Ultra, Eisstation DDC, and Eisstation VPP, for different pump options (D5, DDC and DC-LT). Alphacool is calling user's attention to the myriad of mounting options available (it can be screwed to a number of places on your case, and there's a Velcro pad offered to increase mounting possibilites even more). The small footprint (the Eisstation are small enough to fit inside a 3.5" bay cage) and subtle blue RGB lighting are also of note (other color options are available through mod kits).
