Featuring the highest clocks on offer, with 1241/1304/7012 MHz, this card features a massive triple-fan WindForce 3X cooling solution, the same one that cools GTX 970 G1.Gaming, which stays silent until a temperature threshold is reached. Also featured here is FlexDisplay.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 G1.Gaming Pictured

Here are the first pictures of Gigabyte's GeForce GTX 960 G1.Gaming graphics card. This factory-overclocked card is designed to woo mid-range graphics card buyers with a hefty, high-end looking package. To begin with, Gigabyte deployed its large WindForce 3X cooling solution on this 120W TDP chip, the same one it used on the GTX 970 and GTX 980 G1.Gaming products. This cooler may seem overkill, but Gigabyte may set a temperature-activated fan profile, which keeps the fans off until the GPU hits a temperature threshold, which we imagine will be very high, given this chip's thermals, and the size of this cooler's heatsink.

The GTX 960 G1.Gaming from Gigabyte will also be different from other offerings based on this chip, due to its display I/O. While most other GTX 960 cards will feature two dual-link DVI and one each of HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2, this card features an I/O that looks identical to Gigabyte's GTX 980 G1.Gaming, with two dual-link DVI, three DisplayPort 1.2, and one HDMI 2.0 connectors. NVIDIA will launch the GeForce GTX 960 on the 22nd of January, 2015. Looks like some stores are already stocked-up.

Gigabyte Launches GeForce GTX 970 Mini-ITX Graphics Card

A time-traveler from two years ago would see the graphics card below to be a $100-ish mainstream fare, but looks can be extremely deceptive. This puppy packs more bite than a Radeon R9 290X. Gigabyte's latest creation puts a GeForce GTX 970 into a compact board that should play well with mini-ITX builds. The GTX 970 ITX card (model: N970IX-OC) features a full-height PCB that's about as long as a mini-ITX motherboard (17 cm), and a dense WindForce cooling solution that uses a single 100 mm fan to ventilate a dense aluminium fin heatsink, to which heat is fed by two 8 mm thick, and one 5 mm thick copper heat-pipes.

The card draws power from a single 8-pin PCIe power connector. Display outputs include one HDMI 2.0, two dual-link DVI, and three DisplayPort 1.2 connectors. It comes with factory-overclocked speeds of 1076 MHz core and 1216 MHz GPU Boost, compared to reference clocks of 1051/1178 MHz. The memory is left untouched at 7.00 GHz. The best part about this card is its price. Gigabyte is charging no premium, pricing it at US $329.99.

Gigabyte Outs Second GeForce GTX 970 WindForce OC Graphics Card

GIGABYTE Unveils its WaterForce VGA Liquid-Cooling Solution

Having earned a reputation for itself in VGA air-cooling with its WindForce line, it was only natural that it would name its VGA liquid-cooling solutions WaterForce. GIGABYTE showed its contraption off to crowds attending its Tech Tour event held on 25th April, 2014. The solution makes AMD's Asetek-made cooler for its R9 295X2 seem puny in comparison. It consists of a large external module that contains the coolant reservoirs, a gargantuan radiator with multiple fans, the pumps, and ports for coolant tubes for individual cards, that make their way into your case through a hub that takes up a 5.25-inch drive bay.

The main unit also has a coolant temperature display for each of the coolant channel, and controls that let you fine-tune cooling performance taking temperatures and noise into account. The tubes then reach each of the installed WaterForce series graphics cards, which feature full-coverage water blocks that cover not just the GPU, but also memory and VRM. The system GIGABYTE demoed had three cards based on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti. GIGABYTE also showed off its new WindForce 600W cooling solution, which recently made its debut as part of a bundle with the company's GeForce GTX TITAN Black graphics card. It's capable of handling thermal loads as high as 600W.

Gigabyte Bundling GeForce GTX Titan Black with WindForce Cooler

Just like it did with the first Titan, Gigabyte Technology has decided on pairing up NVIDIA's GeForce GTX Titan Black with its own WindForce 3X 600W cooling system. There is a catch to this solution though as buyers will need to replace the stock cooler of the GTX Titan Black with Gigabyte's three-fan solution.

The Titan card available in this bundle has its 6 GB of GDDR5 memory at the standard frequency (7,000 MHz) but the GPU has higher than stock clocks - the base clock is 1006 MHz (up from 889 MHz) while the boost clock is 1111 MHz (980 MHz stock). The rest of the specs are as expected - 2880 CUDA Cores, a 384-bit memory interface, 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe power connectors, and dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.

EVGA Offers ACX Cooling Solution for GeForce TITAN Black

With NVIDIA's restrictions that prevent AIC partners from coming up with custom-design GeForce GTX TITAN Black graphics cards (with the exception of those with factory-fitted full-coverage water-blocks) in place, EVGA is taking a route explored by GIGABYTE last year, when it bundled NVIDIA-kosher (reference design) GTX TITAN cards with its WindForce 450 cooling solution detached, that the users can install by themselves. EVGA's approach is a tiny bit different. Its GTX TITAN Black-branded ACX cooler is sold separately, as an accessory for the company's reference-design cards; at a rather affordable price of US $39.99. The package includes the dual-fan aluminium fin heatsink, and a heatspreader to cool the memory and VRM.
