The 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ear Headphones offer a welcome blend of good sound quality, well-implemented controls, and nice extra features at a reasonable price. They're also built like a tank and look understatedly beautiful. If this paragraph of text is all you're willing to read, let me put it bluntly—just buy these.
Just about everything you might want from a pair of wireless in-ears is there. Even though they're not tuned for serious hi-fi, 1MORE cleverly gave them a sound signature that works great on the go: they're bassy, punchy, energetic, sufficiently detailed and pushed forward in the mids, and mostly inoffensively so in the high range. They're also loud—definitely loud enough to separate you from your environment even if you choose not to use their active noise cancellation.
And that's another thing: the ANC is there when you need it. It has two levels, differentiated by the strength of noise cancellation and battery drainage, and works well enough to drown out most of the noise you're looking to get rid of when you decide to invest in a pair of ANC headphones, such as airplane engines. They even have the so-called "Passthrough Mode" where the built-in microphones make the higher frequencies from your surroundings (think car horns, bike bells and such) easily audible even when blasting your favorite tunes while walking around.
They aren't IP rated, but based on my testing, have no trouble handling the usual amount of sweat you might produce while jogging or working out. I wouldn't necessarily buy them as my primary workout headphones if that is the main thing I am after, but it's good to know that they seem to be very usable in that scenario, too.
7 hours of battery life is nothing to write home about. That's how much you'll get from most wireless in-ear headphones in this price bracket. There's good news, though, as the 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ears support fast charging. Plugging them in for only 10 minutes will give you enough juice for another 3 hours of playback. Also, it only takes an hour to charge the battery completely. Good stuff!
If you're in the market for wireless headphones and are working with a $100 budget, feel free to invest in these. There's no way you won't love them.
