If the 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ear Headphones look familiar to you, there's a good reason for that. Last year, I reviewed the 1MORE Triple Driver BT In-Ears (read it here), which are seemingly close to identical, at least as far as the design goes. Make no mistake, though—after looking beyond their exterior, it quickly becomes obvious that these two pairs of wireless in-ear headphones are vastly different in many key areas.

The most obvious is the number of built-in speaker drivers. As their name suggests, the 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ears sport "only" two speaker drivers: a standard dynamic driver and a single balanced armature. The Triple Driver BT has two balanced armatures. Balanced armatures are regularly used in hearing aids with the purpose of increasing sound clarity. To get a bit more technical, they use an electronic signal to vibrate a tiny reed that is balanced between two magnets inside a tiny enclosure. The motion of the reed is transferred to a very stiff aluminium diaphragm. In a hybrid setup, such as that of the 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC, where a balanced armature is combined with a dynamic driver, the balanced armature takes care of high frequencies.

While the 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ears lost a balanced armature, they gained something potentially much more important: active noise cancellation. 1MORE opted not to use an existing ANC solution, with Sony's and Bose's solutions being the predominant ones. Instead, they developed their own and gave it two "strength" levels adjustable by pulling on a dedicated lever, yet another addition that wasn't available on the Triple Driver BT. With a competitive price of $110 and the fact that they check most of the boxes for anyone after a pair of wireless headphones, the 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ear Headphones seem like an interesting proposition. In this review, we'll examine if that really is the case.

The Package

By now, we should be accustomed to 1MORE's products shipping in boxes that are both beautiful and well made. This one is no exception. The 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ear Headphones are packed inside a foldable, sturdy white and gray box with a front and back that show off the headphones and their specs. On the front, you'll also notice that these headphones won last year's Red Dot Design Award.

The inner side of the foldable flap is covered in sketches that give us a bit of insight into how these headphones came to be. This is standard practice for 1MORE and one I've grown really fond of!

Here's everything you'll find neatly organized inside the box: the headphones, a user manual, some stickers, a carrying pouch, a USB-C charging cable, a USB-C to 3.5-mm adapter (for wired use), three pairs of replacement ear tips of various sizes, and four "Ear Secure" holders, which can be used to anchor the headphones more securely should you find the fit without the holders suboptimal. There's also an airplane adapter, which I managed to misplace before taking the photo—sorry about that!
