The face of the box has a photo of the PSU with its fan grille exposed. Several icons describe the stand-out features, including the Gold efficiency badge. The maximum power output has been put in the bottom-right corner.

The bundle is rich, including Velcro straps and bags for the PSU and modular cables. Two leaflets are also provided, along with the fixing bolts to mount the PSU inside the case.

The fan grille has a unique, nonrestrictive design. The red switch at the face is for toggling the semi-passive operation on/off. 1st Player could have used a less striking color. Finally, the usual C14 AC receptacle is used, and there is a power switch.

There is not much to see on the sides. The power specifications label is on the bottom, and it is easily understood.

The modular panel has nine sockets.

Measuring 160 mm deep, dimensions follow the norm, which has it fit inside all ATX-compatible PC cases.

Cables and Connectors

4-pin Molex (450 mm+150 mm+150 mm)2418AWGNo
AC Power Cord (1400 mm) - C13 coupler1118AWGNo

The ATX cable is long enough, but the EPS cables should be around 50 mm longer. You probably won't have a problem with the 600 mm on offer if going with a regular-sized PC case, though.

The peripheral connectors are adequately far apart.
