A.C Ryan has busted out a complete range of hard drive enclosures, starting from no frills USB 2.0 enclosures to dual hard drive/RAID variants with Firewire, eSATA and Ethernet. All of their enclosures have the same look, so if you end up needing more than one, the collection should look great on your desk. The overall structure reminds us of the Akasa Integral! series which seems to have the same roots as the AluBox line. While it may not have direct heat transfer or active cooling, the air space around the drive seems to do a sufficient job at cooling.
The excellent performance with both USB 2.0 and Ethernet make this enclosure a no brainer, just handle it with care during transportation or shipping as the thin cardboard box and tray may be too little to protect the contents in some cases.
