Everest is great for quick diagnostic of computer components and for checking some of the CPU's basic synthetic performance, as well as memory bandwidth and latency. Everest Ultimate version 5.02 is used to check the Memory Read/Write/Copy/Latency performance.The lack of L3 cache in Sempron and Athlon II models actually increases the system memory performance, but since these are just theoretical numbers, they do not represent real life performance of processors.
