Unlike general performance benchmarks, Athlon II X4 620 is showing some serious performance limitations caused by the lack of L3 cache. Even so, it matches the performance of much higher priced Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200, and in some cases it outperforms dual core CPUs which are always praised by the gamer community. Face it, multithreading games are slowly becoming a reality, and dual core CPUs are going to lag even more in near future.
