Assembly
Installing the motherboard is done by traditional means. The opening for the hard drives up top and the gap in the front allow you to access and route all cables nicely. Large CPU coolers of up to 174mm in height and GPUs with a maximum length of 348mm will fit, which negates any limiting factors due to size when picking these parts.
The plastic hard-drive trays are for either 2.5'' or 3.5" drives. You won't need any tools to install 3.5'' drives since the trays' metal pins will hold such drives in place. However, you will need to use the supplied screws and a screwdriver with SSDs.
Once the trays are filled, slide them into the chassis until they snap into place. This is not an issue for those filled with a 3.5" drive, but SSD-equipped trays have a bit more play due to the somewhat soft plastic these trays are made out of.
Installing an optical drive is done by removing the front cover and the 3.5" hard-drive tray to slide the drive into place. Traditional screws are supplied to secure it in place.
The PSU is also held in place by its normal screws, but its fan should really be facing outward to make sure it draws cool, fresh air in through the dust filter instead of working with what warm air there is inside the chassis.
With everything installed, the anidees AI7 makes a fairly clean impression, but as the dividing wall simply ends at the edge of the ATX board, you cannot really route cables as nicely as with grommet-covered holes.
Finished Looks
With the side panels put back into place, the white chassis makes a really sexy impression once turned on. The large window gives you a great view of the hardware, with all the boring parts, like the ODD or hard drives, nicely out of sight.
The large window allows you to see the entire motherboard, while the four LED-equipped fans do a great job of lighting up all the components. The PSU also has access to clean, fresh air because of the dust-filter-equipped air vent on the other side.
The black drive looks really good as well as the interior of the chassis is of the same color, so it does not feel out of place. In the rear, everything is where you would expect it to be, with all the connectivity easily accessible.
