Packaging

Any package containing a gaming chair is bulky and heavy. Coming in at approximately 28.5 kg (62.83 lb.), carrying it around on your own is difficult unless you are Hulk. Plenty of information regarding the chair and product illustrations are on every side of the package.

Contents

All contents are well protected in plastic membrane and protective plastic sheets.

The bundle includes the following:

• Backrest
• Hinge screws (2x)
• Mounting screws (2x)
• Seat with two pre-installed armrests
• Tilt/height adjustments mechanism
• Neck and lumbar support pillows
• Hydraulic system
• Dust-cover shroud
• Class-4 gas lift
• Lever covers (2x)
• Caster wheels (two sets of five)
• Wheel base
• Allen/hex key
• Side/hinge covers (2x)
• Hinge rubber cover plugs (2x)
• User manual

Assembly

The assembly manual—shown below—is illustrated, which makes it easier to follow, and fortunately, it contains instructions in two languages. Following the user manual is always a good idea as it makes for a more straightforward assembly experience and prevents mistakes. Having someone assist also is not wrong since aligning some parts will be easier with a second pair of hands and eyes.

Initial Impression

The Ymir is large, and its light gray upholstery contributes since bright colors create the impression of more volume. The decorative light blue patterns spread all over the upholstery add a playful element to the plain gray color, making it enticing to gamers. The soft upholstery reminds me of a cozy piece of furniture—it feels more welcoming.
