Dimensions

Befitting the "gaming category," the well-established sports bucket seat is what the Ymir is based on. Because of its fabric cover, light colors, and EN 1335-1:2021 and EN 1335-2:2019 certifications, I can easily see it in an office as well.

The backrest is 84 cm (33.07 in.) tall and 54 cm (21.25 in.) wide at the shoulders, with the inner width 26 cm (10.23 in.).

The seat's base is also broad, at 58 cm (22.83 in.) deep without the backrest and 50 cm (19.68 in.) deep with the backrest. The seat is 56 cm (22.04 in.) wide; however, the raised edges on the backrest and seat are so tall not the entire area is usable.

Usually, chairs for large users use compressed foam as it maintains its shape and has heavier users sit better. However, the Ymir uses soft cushioning, which makes it a good option for even smaller, lighter users like myself.

Adjustments

The typical ergonomics features for gaming chairs are present.

The chair's height is adjustable, ranging from 132–142 cm (51.96–55.90 in.). Use a lever located under the right side of the seat to adjust it.

On the same side on the seat, a lever with a grip adjusts the backrest's recline from anywhere between 90° to 155°.

On the other side, another lever locks and unlocks the rocking mechanism with the ability to tilt up to 11° or lock the position of the backrest in at a certain angle.

The resistance of the rocking mechanism is also adaptable, and depends on the user's weight. A knob under the front of the seat loosens or tightens the tilt's tension.
