Cyberpunk 2077
Released: 2020 — API: DirectX 12 — Engine: RED Engine
The most hotly anticipated game of 2020, maybe even this decade, Cyberpunk 2077 is as much a work of art as it is a game. A vast open-world metropolis set in the future beckons you with hundreds of quests and side-quests, an enormous amount of content, and the potential to suck you into an alternate reality. Despite its launch-time bugs, Cyberpunk 2077 will go down as a technical milestone in gaming history. You play as "V," a street criminal out on a quest to steal a cybernetic implant with mythical abilities from a mega-corporation.
Based on the RED Engine by CD Projekt RED, Cyberpunk 2077 is among the first true DirectX 12 Ultimate titles with RTX real-time raytracing, support for NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FidelityFX CAS, and a lot more. The game can be heavily taxing on your machine, but promises to reward you with a world to get lost in.
