Overclocking

Overclocking with ASRock's X370 Taichi is a piece of cake. With a 16-phase CPU power delivery design capable of 300 W, the X370 Taichi is ready to clock your CPU to the moon and back provided you have the right cooling. Intel XMP profiling is supported as well, although not all memory will work without some tweaking. The entire platform is subject to this right now, so that is no issue particular to the X370 Taichi, but should you want to tweak memory timings, you will be able to do so just as easily, although you will have to dig through a few layers of menu options in order to find what you need. Voltage options are good for even extreme users too, so no matter what angle you plan to take when going for an overclock of your new Ryzen system, the ASRock X370 Taichi is ready and willing. I did manage to push up past 4.1 GHz with my CPU, but my cooling is not up to the task. Do keep that in mind when planning your build - cooling is very important!
