The ASRock X370 Taichi implements ASRock's Purity Sound4 audio design, a high-end focused audio circuit.
It starts with a Realtek ALC1220 audio CODEC, mixes in a decent amount of electrical isolation from other parts of the X370 Taichi, and with a bunch of other high-grade components, offers some pretty decent onboard sound that is hard to match. Testing results are below and speak for themselves. You can ignore the THD results; those are an artifact of the testing environment when combined with the ALC1220.
