The ASRock X399M Taichi comes with a fully fledged BIOS, which is as you would expect from a full-sized motherboard, but this is an mATX product. The options found here are very similar to what I found with the ASRock X370 Taichi, which means you'll be able to overclock your Threadripper CPU fairly easily should you decide that's what you want to do. There don't seem to be any options for adjusting the base clock that I noticed, but perhaps that's something with this platform in general because if we are honest, this is my first time playing with this platform and the crazy 32-thread Threadripper 1950X CPU. That said, without a lot of experience with the platform, I was easily able to find what I needed, whether it was to change the boot drive after installing Windows or to play with RAID settings, or overclocking; ASRock has a pretty set formula for their BIOS design that works well no matter what platform it's intended for, and that does aid in making finding those things easier for those of us who have used ASRock's boards in the past.

I didn't exactly expect much in the way of voltage options and such, or decent memory clocking ability here, but I didn't have much issue with either at all with this board, so if you have the right memory kit, you're sure to have some fun tweaking timings for the utmost in performance here.
