Output Noise

We use a high quality CEM-8852 Sound DB Meter which is installed 50 cm away from the NAS to take these measurements. The ambient noise in our lab while these noise measurements were taken was below 30 dBA.



We set fan speed to auto mode while the unit was operating normally, and output noise was, as you can see, not high. Below is a table with both the fan speed and CPU temperature at each of the three predefined fan speed modes (low, medium, and high).
