Value & Conclusion

  • At the time of this review the AZZA Helios 910 can be had for around $79.00 USD.
  • Priced right
  • Quality build
  • Black screws and thumb screws
  • No cheap plastic "screw-less" designs
  • Good airflow.
  • Removable HDD cage
  • Four fans included
  • 3.5 inch bay with rails included
  • Black interior
  • Four well spaced USB 2.0 up front
  • Some CPU coolers may not clear side fan.
  • No dust filters on the intake areas of the case
  • No opening under the CPU area of the mainboard
  • Mainboard "bumps" as spacers could be problematic
  • Molex connectors on all fans, translates to more noise
  • Limited cable hiding and routing capabilities
  • Little space above CPU cooler
The AZZA Helios 910 is a good looking case for those wanting the combination of a black interior with nine drive bays. While the side fan is a nice touch and will certainly help cool things down inside, the fact that all of the four cooling units are connected via Molex plugs directly to the power supply may make you think everything over and disconnect the loudest fans. Besides that, I am glad to see, that AZZA has chosen to place thumb screws in vital areas like the mainboard expansion or the drive bays. I was shocked to see "bumps" instead of normal spacers on four of the ATX mounting spots as this is usually only found in cheap OEM cases. Overall, the AZZA Helios 910 is a simple, nice and functional case with a black interior, but it does leave us with a few mixed feelings at the end of the day. Priced at just under 80 US Dollars around some shops on the Internet, it is bound to attract a lot of builders on a budget who want the nine bay expandability.
