Finished Looks

Be quiet's all-black design is visually appealing as the ARGB accent ring is similar to the silver in the be quiet! logo. Meaning even if you dislike ARGB lighting be quiet! has you covered here as the unit is crisp and clean without it, making it a nice option for a less in your face cooler design.

Graphics card clearance is perfect with no issues to be found. However, the cooler will block ram slots. While you can over come this by sliding the front fan upwards you will lose cooling efficiency. Standard height memory or slightly taller with heatsinks should be fine but extreme memory with excessive light bars and other features will likely cause headaches. This is due to the cooler's already excessive height of 168 mm raising the front fan will easily push that beyond 170 mm so keep you component selection in mind if your looking at the Dark Rock Elite.

ARGB lighting is above average with decent color uniformity. While bright and darker areas are present especially in photos, in person they are not as noticeable. In general the lighting is tasteful and while not as eye-catching as other offerings it checks the "ARGB equipped" box while also being done well.
