Noise and Fan Speed (Increased Temperatures)
There is no fan-stop feature, but the fan spins at very low speeds under light and moderate loads, so you won't hear it. With 300 W load, fan speed starts to increase to cope with the thermal load.
Noise and Fan Speed (~30 °C)
High loads on the minor rails don't seem to affect the fan-speed profile, which is good. As in the high-temperature tests, fan speed starts to increase with 340–350 W load, and with loads above 590 W, fan noise sits in the 30–35 dBA region.
