Biostar introduces a new look to their BIOS with the Biostar Racing Z170GT7. The new layout features a real-time data panel of the left, while the middle of the screen contains the BIOS's actual options. Sectioned into seven tabs that span across the bottom of the screen, the BIOS is fairly straightforward and easy to use. Most of the options a normal user would want are here, and things like voltage options are easy to find and free of clutter. The real-time displays are nice, but things like fan listings only display a couple items rather than all fans. I could see how some users might want a bit more out of a board's BIOS, but given the cost of the Biostar Racing Z170GT7, what is here is more than adequate. I noted that although the board is only listed to have memory support for up to 3200 MHz DIMMs, there are options here for up to 4133 MHz for the memory dividers. I suppose they are offered, but not 100% supported. It was still nice to see them included.
