Storage Performance


There are only a couple of I/O controllers on the Biostar Racing Z370GT6, an ASMedia ASM2142 for the rear USB 3.1 and a ASMedia ASM1543 for the rear USB type C port. While these controllers are economical and help keep cost down, there is a sacrifice to using previous-generation components in some applications. The relatively poor showing this board makes in USB type-C testing is a good example. The rest is handled by the Z370 chipset.
