AOpen

The s661FXm-FSN is a really low-cost Pentium M motherboard based on the SiS 661FX chipset. Even though it is low cost it still has the minimum feature set you would expect as system integrator:
  • Intel Socket 479 Pentium M (Dothan), SiS 661 + SiS 964
  • 2x DDR slots, up to 2GB
  • 1x AGP 8x, 3x PCI
  • 4x UltraDMA 133, 2x SATA
  • 1x Realtek Gigabit Ethernet
  • 8x USB, 1x FireWire
  • MicroATX Formfactor
Under the white paint near the socket between "AOpen" and "s661FXm-FSN" it says "s661GXm-FSN", no idea which model that is.

The nMCP551-SLi is build around NVIDIA's new MCP55P chipset and supports AMD's AM2 socket.
  • AMD Socket AM2, NVIDIA MCP55P
  • 4x DDR2-533/667
  • 2x PCI-E x16, 3x PCI-E x1, 2x PCI
  • 6x UDMA 133, 6x SATA
  • Marvell Gigabit Ethernet
  • 10x USB, 2x Firewire
  • ATX Formfactor

The tiniest of all new motherboards is the i916GMt-FA. It uses the MiniITX form factor which has a footprint of 170mm x 170mm, a postcard is 105x148 mm.
  • Intel Socket 479 Pentium M (Dothan), i915GM + ICH6M
  • 2x DDR2 slots, up to 2GB
  • Intel i915GM integrated VGA with S-Video out
  • 1x PCI
  • 2x UltraDMA 133, 2x SATA
  • 1x Realtek Gigabit Ethernet
  • 8x USB, 2x FireWire
  • MiniITX Formfactor

AOpen's i945GTt-VFA supports the new Intel Mobile Core Solo/Duo processors and comes in the MiniITX form factor as well.
  • Intel Socket 479 Pentium M (Core Solo/Duo), i945GT + ICH7MGH
  • 2x SO-DIMM DDR2 slots
  • Intel i945GT integrated VGA with S-Video out
  • 1x PCI-E x1, 1x mini PCI
  • 2x UltraDMA 133, 2x SATA
  • 1x Intel Gigabit Ethernet
  • 8x USB, 2x FireWire
  • MiniITX Formfactor

A bit bigger but still using Intel Mobile CPUs is the i945GTm-VHL:
  • Intel Socket 479 Pentium M (Core Solo/Duo), i945GT + ICH7MGH
  • 2x SO-DIMM DDR2 slots
  • Intel i945GT integrated VGA with S-Video, DVI-I, YPbPr HDTV out
  • 2x PCI-E x16, 2x PCI-E x1, 2x PCI
  • 1x UltraDMA 133, 2x SATA
  • 1x Marvell Gigabit Ethernet
  • 8x USB, 1x FireWire
  • MicroATX Formfactor

Next up is the high-end Intel Mobile motherboard i975Xa-YDG. This looks what is designed to be a high-performance allround board for a power user's system.
  • Intel Socket 479 Pentium M (Core Solo/Duo), i975X + ICH7
  • 4x DDR2 slots
  • 2x PCI-E x16, 2x PCI-E x1, 2x PCI
  • 2x UltraDMA 100, 4x UltraDMA 133, 4x SATA-II, 1x eSATA-II
  • 1x Marvell Gigabit Ethernet
  • 8x USB, 1x FireWire
  • ATX Formfactor

No detailed specs are known about this motherboard using Intel's new i965 chipset.

AOpen does not only make motherboards but also computer cases and small form factor barebones. These are just two examples of the variety of ideas seen. The small case is only 69mm high and uses Intel's next-gen EPC case standard.

This pretty red case is designed for MicroATX motherboards and can still take full-height video cards. Even though it uses pretty strong colors it looks very clean and elegant.

This case design is also fairly unique. Everything in the case has been flipped which means the slot cards are in the top and the power supply is in the bottom, but it still stays ATX.

Also on display were a load of small form factor barebones - too many to cover in detail.
