Packaging
The chassis ships in the usual brown cardboard box with an image of the unit on front, while the rear goes into additional detail and lists a few marketing bulletin points in several languages. On the side is a full frontal view and detailed specifications list.
Two Styrofoam spacers hold the case in place, and a plastic bag protects it from scratches and fingerprints during the packing process at the factory.

The extras that ship alongside the HAF 500 are pretty basic. A basic manual, unsorted bag of black screws, and several zip ties are all you will find.
Cooler Master also sent us a few of their products to use for the build. We have with us the MWE Gold 850 V2 power supply and MasterLiquid PL240 Flux AIO CPU cooler, both of which we will look at in detail. There is also a 3-pack of the Masterfan MF120 in the Halo variant. We got to utilize the M120 series in a past Cooler Master case review and deemed it to be quite feature-packed. Unfortunately, there is no tangible way to use this 3-pack with the HAF 500, but check out
this page of our NR200P review for more information on the Masterfan MF120 if interested.
