Value & Conclusion »

Performance Rating

Because of the lower capacity, the M2000 performs a little better than the Hela 2050. Still, it cannot effectively meet the competition. The EVGA 1600 T2, Thermaltake TF1 1550, and Corsair AX1600i are significantly better performers.

Noise Rating

The graph below depicts the cooling fan's average noise output throughout the entire operating range of the PSU, with an ambient temperature between 30 °C and 32 °C.

Under tough conditions, expect the M2000 to be loud, which close to 40 dBA average noise output proves. The difference in noise output with the legendary EVGA 1600 T2 is not that high, though.

Efficiency Rating

The graph below shows the PSU's average efficiency throughout its operating range, with an ambient temperature between 30 °C and 32 °C.

This is an efficient platform despite its monstrous capacity.

5VSB Efficiency Rating

The graph below shows the PSU's average efficiency at 5VSB, with an ambient temperature between 30 °C and 32 °C.

The 5VSB rail is highly efficient.

PF Rating

The graph below shows the PSU's average PF throughout its operating range, with an ambient temperature between 30 °C and 32 °C.

The APFC converter offers decent performance, but there is room for improvement.
