To Cooltek W2 can be considered a direct competitor to the Corsair Carbide Air 540. Both feature a cube layout and can hold large motherboards. While the Air 540 scores with its two front 5.25" drive bays, the W2 fights back with a better mix in terms of hard-drive space. And while the Air 540 is more flexible when it comes to liquid-cooling setups, the W2 offers its own unique feature with a built-in fan controller. But enough of the comparison as both cases target a very similar crowd, but with quite the different approach. Mostly staying clear of plastic, though there is the side window, the Cooltek W2 impresses with its material mix. And the three 140 mm fans packed into the chassis right out of the box, will put a smile on your face since you essentially won't have to fork over any more money for additional cooling units. Cooltek has done an excellent job in creating a clean-looking, understated chassis with a great balance between external and internal storage options, support for large components, and great cable management possibilities—even though the rear 5.25" drive bay slot may take some getting used to. With a price roughly 20 euro below the Corsair Carbide Air 540, the Cooltek W2 is more than just a really enticing alternative if looking for a full-sized cube chassis.
