Packaging

The case ships in the same type of box we have seen from other Corsair cases in recent times. The front simply sports a company logo and the name of the case model, while the rear holds Corsair's signature triangular print pattern which spills over to one side which has useful details printed. Here there is a sticker to let you know exactly which of the case variants is within the package. On the opposite side, there is just a blank canvas - no spec table or larger depiction of the enclosure. It is interesting to see a case of this size rightfully marked as heavy.

The Corsair 6500X is held in place with thick, solid foam spacers. A plastic bag as been used to protect the chassis from scratches and fingerprints during the packing process.

Contents

The small parts for the chassis ship in a plastic container neatly sorted, which is a nice touch. Besides the screw and black zip ties, you will also find an adapter cable that splits the unified case connector into individual sets of plugs, should your board be one of the rare ones that doesn't follow the (unofficial) pin layout we usually see these days. Last but not least, there is some legal safety and compliance documentation. Corsair does not ship a printed manual with this case, so you will have to find it online if you need some help during your building process.
