Initial Setup

Photographing this memory while it was on became a bit of a challenge. The LEDs are extremely bright, but not individually distinguishable without a fast shutter speed of a camera. iCUE software does give you the ability to lower the light intensity if you find these LEDs are too bright inside the case. That being said, the default intensity setting is great for cases with tinted side panels. The only problem here is that, just like the Corsair Dominator Platinum, right behind the Dominator text are backing LEDs. It is hard to spot unless you are looking for it, but becomes more noticeable the dimmer the LEDs are.

Enabling XMP Profile

The Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5-7200 memory kit had no stability issues during the testing phase. However, because this is a non-binary memory kit, for the entire available memory to be recognized, the motherboard BIOS will need to be updated. Using this memory kit on a non-supported system resulted in a Windows BSOD or the wrong amount of available memory being allocated.

It is advised to only use this memory with an Intel Z790 based motherboard and a Intel 13th Generation (K) Processor (or 14th Gen K). This is because many Z690 motherboards are not validated to support 7200 MT/s by the motherboard manufacturer. Using a 12th Generation Processor with a Z790 motherboard can also be problematic. This is because the Intel 12th Gen CPU internal memory controller (IMC) limitation lands anywhere between 6800 MT/s and 7400 MT/s using voltages that are good for daily usage. For best results, it is always suggested to seek out the motherboards manufacturer memory QVL list or reach out to the Corsair support team for more information.
