Build Quality & Comfort

Even though it weighs a hefty 390 g, the Void Pro RGB Wireless is superbly comfortable. It's up there with the SteelSeries Arctis 7 in that regard. In other words, its comfort is about as good as it gets. Corsair achieved that by carefully combining a couple of important details.

First and foremost, the ear cushions are huge and do a great job of completely surrounding the ears. They're made from viscoelastic memory foam and are covered with microfiber mesh fabric. That not only makes them extremely soft to the touch, but also unusually breathable, more so than it would ever be possible if they were covered in pleather, or leather.


The very same combination of memory foam and mesh fabric is used on the inner side of the headband, which is why you can barely feel it touching the top of your head.


The Void Pro RGB Wireless can be adjusted to various head sizes by sliding the two parts of the frame that carry the ear cups along the headband. Thanks to a series of numbered markings on both sides of the headband, it's very easy to adjust both ear cups equally. That's the only way you can be sure the weight is being distributed evenly; I am happy Corsair remembered to add these.

Add to that a very light clamping force and you really can't get anything other than a fantastically comfortable headset. I was using the Void Pro RGB Wireless for hours and hours at a time, and not for a second did it cause any pain, chafing or any other kind of discomfort.


Although the headset's entire frame is made of plastic, I don't have a single complaint regarding the build quality. There are no creaks, loose joints, or obvious weak points. Well done, Corsair!
