Overall the Cougar Forza 85 maintains a neutral design, in that its silver, black, and gray color scheme with no ARGB lighting won't jump out at you as a focal point in your system. Its appearance is more subdued and, due to the more subtle looks, will likely be a hit for those wanting a less garish system. No flamboyant lighting effects, excessive plastic shrouds, or other features. Instead, you get a simple and clean-looking cooler that should get the job done.


The Graphics card and memory clearance are perfect. Due to its offset design, the heatsink and fan do not overhang the memory slots meaning you can use whatever memory you wish. The same goes for the graphics card, since most motherboards leave the very top expansion slot empty, as it's where the majority of offerings have the primary PCIe M.2 slot. This means there is plenty of space between the heatsink and the PCB of the GPU, so there should be no issues except for select Mini-ITX systems.
