The first thing about these Crucial Ballistix Tactical DIMMs that will stand out for a fair number of users is the complete absence of any lighting. Mix that with great performance and affordable pricing and Crucial has a win here that few can deny. Crucial has long been my choice for entry-level DIMMs, and they have proven to me here that they can make high-performance parts too.
There is not a lot that needs to be said about these Ballistix Tactical DIMMs; the performance offered says it all. They aren't the highest-clocked DDR4 sticks on the market, they aren't big and flashy, and aren't going to break the bank, and that is basically what everyone wants out of memory products, isn't it? I managed to get a good overclock out of these DIMMs too, but since overclocking is never guaranteed, I did not post the results. I don't want to create unrealistic expectations, and truly pushing DDR4 to its limit requires voltages that really are not recommended for 24/7 use.
Summing up the Crucial Ballistix Tactical DIMMs is easy: If you want a great product, buy these sticks. There is absolutely no reason to hesitate. It doesn't matter if you have SkyLake or Broadwell-E; these sticks are going to work well for you. Bought a set and need some help setting it up? Let me know in the forums!!
