Installation

To install the CRYORIG H7 Quad Lumi, start by putting the corresponding screws into their holes on the backplate for your particular socket. Then, slide the mounting arms over the backplate's screws. They just sit on top. Secure them in place using the thumb screws.


It is now time to apply a bit of thermal compound and place the heatsink over the CPU. Tighten the pre-attached screws down and into the mounting arms to secure the heatsink to the motherboard. Once done, attach the fan and plug in all the wires.

The mounting hardware included with the CRYORIG H7 Quad Lumi cooler is relatively straightforward. In terms of difficulty, I would rate its installation an 8 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest). The biggest thing to keep an eye on are the plastic tabs on the backplate; they hold the backplate's screws in place. While I did not encounter any problems, it seems it would not take much for them to break. So be aware and take your time.
