Packaging

DeepCool placed all pertinent information on a white sleeve that slides over a simple brown box. On the front, you have an image of the cooler in full color but little else. Meanwhile, the left side has no information at all. Instead, all the specifications are located on the back panel, and as has been the case on many other DeepCool products of late, they use a light gray text on a white background, making it harder to read. Still, all the information you would expect is listed here, including fan rpm, fan airflow, overall dimensions, weight, socket support, etc.

The right side is similar to the left in that you won't find any images or information to speak of. DeepCool's logo is the only thing of note on the top. Overall the packaging is quite simple but effective in that it feels more professional and less gamer-centric.

Internally the cooler and mounting hardware are protected with foam and cardboard. Overall I found no issues such as bent fins, so the packaging itself did the job just fine.

Socket support is good, with all Intel and AMD mainstream sockets supported. HEDT sockets from Intel are supported, but AMD's Threadripper series gets no love. As for the hardware itself, it's straightforward by design which is always a positive.

Common parts supplied for mounting include:
  • 4x Mounting nuts
  • 4x AMD standoffs
  • 4x Intel standoffs
  • 4x Fan bracket screws
  • 4x Intel HEDT standoffs

  • 2x Intel mounting brackets
  • 1x Intel backplate
  • 1x 120 mm fan
  • 1x 140 mm fan
