Finished Looks

While the Assassin IV is quite the monster of a cooler, it is still quite stealthy for its size, blending into the overall system. Only the teal DeepCool logo, when illuminated, breaks up the otherwise all-black design.

However, due to the design itself, the rear fan makes the design feel a bit imbalanced. You have essentially two solid plastic shrouds, vented center, then only one plastic shroud at the front. If you opt to install a third fan, the fan bracket has no shroud and looks really out of place. Even with a 140 mm fan (using 120 mm mounting holes), it breaks the visual aesthetic entirely. However, this is a minor issue as its unlikely anyone will opt for a front mounted fan.

Memory clearance was perfect on both test systems. The same goes for the GPU as well, with no problems to report. As for case clearance, as long as your chassis can handle coolers with a height of 164 mm or more, you should have no problems to speak of in that regard, either.
