E-Win Racing has only been a part of the retail market for a year now. However, that does not tell the whole story since the company used to be an OEM manufacturer for several brands. Most chair models this company has on offer will not leave a potential customer indifferent. Everything looks to be transparent as far as the manufacturing procedure is concerned, including both the exterior and interior of their chairs, and the longevity of a chair does mostly depend on the components used. In this case, we have a PU upholstery and caster wheels made out of the same material, and we obviously cannot overlook the sort of use this chair will have to undergo.
The Flash chair is taller, wider, and has more padding to the backrest, seat, and armrests than most models we have evaluated so far. This chair can hold someone with a weight of up to 150 kg (330 lb) and is, hence, an ideal choice for large users. To be even more specific, this product bears a durable steel frame and features a significant amount of cold-molded foam and several elastic bands to the seat and backrest for additional comfort.
The bucket-seat-design inspiration with curved sides that partially enclose and support the body is something we come across more often than we would like, and it thus seems as though almost all gaming chairs look alike, which is why we appreciate the alterations the Flash series bring to this price range.
The overall picture is strongly positive, but there are several weak spots as well. In our sample, the right edge of the seat's base had a dent, which is something we spotted the minute we unpacked the seat. Moreover, the plastic dust-cover shroud is very thin, and the plastic covers of the backrest are not of the finest quality. Anyhow, we should keep in mind that this is a mid-range chair and thus, what matters the most are its comfort- and ergonomic-specific features, rather than the finer details. Considering that E-Win has lots of experience in this field, we expected something a little more innovative in terms of design, other than those differences that do lead to a multi-use design and not one for gaming only. Nonetheless, some details are rather intriguing and do make a difference in this price category.
This product was a really nice surprise for us, although its looks didn't make us jump up in excitement, and there is how the PU material smelled initially, which made us think that this product is of low quality. However, all of that changed dramatically soon enough. This chair is among the most comfortable we have tried so far, and it will easily meet the demands of large users, something many more expensive chairs fail to do. We expect to see more from E-Win in the near future, and it would be interesting to see this company offer a new design as well since it has the resources to do so.
